The restaurant has a few diners when we arrived around 1300. We did wait about 5 minutes or so at the counter before we were... acknowledged. When we were, we ordered and the kind, personable and hard working gentleman informed us he is running theentire place alone. Talk about work ethic. We understand having a hard time getting anyone to work. We sat down, he took ourorder. We got two shrimp poboys and fried pickle spears. To be up front, I have never had a poboy before, so this was myfirst. Also, I have searched high and low for fried pickle spears to no avail until that day. Usually they come as fried chips. If you have never had a fried pickle spread I urge you to come and try. They are a different level of amazing. The poboy wasgood, I just don't think they are for me. I like more veggies on my sandwiches. Call me a rabbit if you wish lol. The foodcame out fast! He did have to delay the pickles as the other customers had tied up the other fryers, no fault of his. I askedhim to wrap them to go and enjoyed them later that night in my air fryer. Overall, the service was fantastic as he was alone,the food was tasty just not for me. My fiance loved hers. Anything over 2 stars at this place is either a "payed for" review or someone who has never had good cajun food! Had the seafood... gumbo- imagine a rue that tastes like water and a bowl of it heated up to luke warm in the microwave. Imagine no more! Theyserve it here. The shrimp etouffee was bland and cooked in the microwave. I mean dang, if you gonna cook it in the microwave, atleast close the door to the kitchen. Chef Ramsey please help dis place owt! Read more

I decided to visit based on the reviews, didnt realize they were for Whittlesey location. The catfish was good. My son ordered... snow crab boiled he said it was ok. This place has the worst seafood I?ve ever tasted but the best staff I ever met. When you walk in there is an overpowering smell... of acetone due to the nail shop next-door. The gumbo was more like seasoned watery soup and not very good. I got The snow andlow boil. There was no flavor to the actual seafood just old bay seasoning sprinkled across the top And was Brought out withbland melted butter. There was only one staff member in the entire restaurant and she was the best but unfortunately the foodreally bad. Read more

Over priced and under delivered based on the reviews you would think this place was gold but not so fast my personal experience ... if you are looking for cajun style seafood hell if you just looking for sea food Period this is not the place Captain D's isBetter than this place foodies beware if your bringing friends forget about it this place is small food was bland they justthrew so oldbay on top and called it a day. BLUF: call ahead and order if you are getting takeout! They have a drive through and it will be much quicker! Ordered the... Crawfish boil with two boiled eggs to go. They were pretty swamped (haha) when I went and forgot to give me my eggs, but by thetime I realized it I was already back at my hotel and was too hungry to care. The mud bugs, sausage and potatoes were deliciousthough, and the serving size was great; I felt like I got my money?s worth.
