Chips seemed warmed up and not fresh although the waiter said everything was made fresh. They gave us a salsa bowl that was... extremely small and there wasn?t much flavor in that as well. The flavor was lacking completely in my dish and my wife?s dish. Ican definitely say I?ve had better Mexican food at quite a few places in just Columbus. The margarita I ordered was ok but Iwasn?t really impressed with anything we tried. Definitely not worth the prices. Read more

Delicious food (standard American Tex-Mex), the venue is great-open onto the street. Good music choices. The cocktails are... fantastic and I am not much of a cocktail person. At the time of this writing, the Espresso Martini is highly recommended. Read more

Waited 15 minutes, had to ask two people, to finally get one?to take our drink orders. Then got them 10 minutes later. Everyone... else around us is eating and been served. It shouldn?t be taking this long. However, it?s clean and the place looks nice. Greatfor photos. Food was alright. You can get better elsewhere at a better time. I wouldn?t advise coming if you?re really hungryand wanting to eat quick. Read more
I was really wanting this place to be good, but I regret to have to say I was highly disappointed. We were called to be seated... at 8:15. Some chips were dropped off 5 mins later. Chips were stale the salsa however is pretty good. 15 mins later the waitressthe waitress comes over to take our drink order. Since its been 20min we go ahead and order food and drinks. 15 min later we askabout the drinks. The bar is backed up, the kitchen is backed up. 30 mins later everything starts coming out 1 at a time, 1virgin Margherita 1 plate, another drink, another drink 2 plates. Right around 9:00 everything comes out. We are still doing thevegetarian thing so we got Casadillia Faijitas and substituted the meat for mushrooms. Flavor of the inside was good. The saladand pico is what comes with the fajita, its not a substitute. The fajita's sat in the water from the salad and were soggy on thebottom. Overall just a terrible experience, It took an hour to get bad food and decent drinks. We did not ask for a comp! I amalways willing to pay for what we order regardless of how it comes out. Someone in the establishment decided that on their own.We don't and didn't complain about anything and still left our waitress a 20% cash tip. This is the most expensive Mexicanrestaurant ive ever been to. Not coming back. We took my sister in law to Krystals after she took a couple bites and didn't eatanymore of it. Read more

We were finally able to sit since it is a very popular place. The food is very good and not expensive. They also have a full... bar with TVs that you can sit at. Seating is available outside as well. They served us promptly and the staff was veryfriendly and attentive. The bathrooms were very clean. I had the chicken tacos and it was delicious, my daughter had the fishtacos wit Talapia and scallops. Great service, great food, great background music. I definitely recommend Agave Bar & Grill!!!
