Little lacking on service when we were here in July. Walked in and all the tables needed to be cleaned. Very crowded. Sat for a... while and then realized we had to go to the counter to order. Ordered, got our drinks from the self serve dispenser. It took awhile to get our table clean. I think they were short on help. Food came after a while. Scramble was real good and tasty.Chicken fried steak was excellent! Thats not a frozen patty! Gravy was nice, thick and tasty. Potatoes were a littleoverseasoned, but cooked perfect and we liked that. Overall, a great little place to eat, but was lacking service the day wewere there. It's worth a try! Read more
I LOVE the EL Cheapo menu, a decent little meal for $5! We haven't had breakfast there yet but the lunches are great. Burgers... are good, Mac n cheese, grilled cheese, BLT, chicken strips... FRIED PICKLES (when they have them) are BOMB! We also love thatthe fountain drinks are self serve, so no waiting for a waitress to refill. The staff has always been friendly and helpful. I dowish they would season the fries a little heavier with whatever delicious seasoning it is that they use though. Read more
Breakfast is a big deal for me. Powdered eggs, really? Fried eggs, hard only? Typical diner coffee. Strange breakfast... experience I usually only take time to write a review for places i really like but you all deserve to be warned about thisone. Odd set up, no waitress. Order at counter, asked for tip before any service given. Customer gets their own beverage and... silverware. Yet they were out of water and we couldn't get that. What service were we expected to tip for??! One employee wasvery confused. I watched her repeatedly try to give customers the wrong meal, while insisting it was what they ordered. Foodwas good which accounts for the three stars. I would not dine here again. Read more
This was our first time here it was a good tasty breakfast. I enjoyed their biscuits and gravy a lot. No waiting to be seated... go in find a table sit down read the menu order at the counter they will bring the food to you. Read more
Had breakfast (Marshall) one day, came back the next for lunch (Joesy). Tasty meals! Fast and friendly service.
Staff is very sweet & kind; the food was delicious & they even had a signature sauce for free that was pretty interesting! I... tried the Lawman combo & the Outlaw Gravy Sauce was delicous. I will definitely suggest this place for our dinner tonight! Read more
