My daughter and I took the bike out and ended up in CC and decided to check out The Square for lunch. Pleasantly surprised by... the cleanliness and the quick greeting we received. My daughter loves chicken sandwiches and I'm all about wings, so it workedout. I ordered a Pepsi and she ordered lemonade. When the server brought my drink I was super excited to see the perfect ice forsoft drinks. Can't explain it, but if you know you know. The food arrived and everything looked great. The grilled chickensandwich was quite large and looked very appetizing. After the third bite I noticed my daughter started eating more fries andless sandwich. I asked if everything was alright and she said it was dry. I took a bite and while there was a good flavor, shewas right. Ultimately she ate the bulk of the sandwich and all her fries. The spicy garlic wings were really good. Carried theperfect blend and just the right amount of heat. The fries were also good. The server was super nice and accommodating and endedup bringing me three refills. While CC is out of my way I will go back if I pass through again. This modern style diner is absolutely amazing. This was my first visit of many to come (2/22/20). Perfectly seasoned Tuna Steak... and Shrimp Skewer with crispy waffle fries and tender Asparagus, finished with lemon raspberry cheesecake and impeccable servicefrom Natasha. I highly recommend trying this small town diner! From the moment I walked in and saw the modern decor I feltrelaxed and at ease. A pleasant greeting from Natasha was a great start to a memorable experience. The menu was surprisinglydiverse with a sampling of everything from classic diner fare to lighter choices such as tuna steak and shrimp skewers. Thesalad bar looked appetizing and did not disappoint according to my girlfriend. The waffle fries were the perfect blend of crispyexterior and fluffy center, the asparagus was tender all the way through and seasoned perfectly. The lemon raspberry cheesecakewas a great end to a wonderful meal. I am already looking forward to my next visit! Read more
