The fish was over done, the fries were disgusting, the fountain drinks were flat and when I asked the manager about it she said... it was fine and didn?t bother to even check on it. All the katchup packets had sticky gooey substance all over them when I leftI try to get some hand sanitizer out of the machine and it was empty. I was in Warsaw Indiana today and the Long John Silverthere has closed. That?s unfortunate because of the store that should?ve closed was the one in Columbia city. Read more
Not what it used to be. The fish was compressed flat, about 1/4 inch thick with cold breading that tasted like oil. Not really... edible. Chicken was very small and not much better than the fish. Read more
Unfriendly cashier truly not a people person. She fixed our plates and left them sitting there while waiting on fresh fries.... when they were done she proceeded to only put the fresh hot fries on one plate I asked her if I could just get fresh ones for both plates her answer was oh we've been busy all evening so they're ok I said I'd really like hot fries on both. I figuredthat way at least something would be hot and fresh since the fish wasn't fresh and it had been sitting out there in the wideopen. Don't know if I'll give this place another try or not? One person in front of us, took fifteen minutes to take our order. After order was taken we were told it was at least another... seven minutes for long John's. Asked for a refund because we didn't want to wait, took a solid five minutes after to get arefund. Employees acted surprised we wanted a refund. Several employees were also just standing around in the kitchen whileanother customer had been waiting for his food the entire time we were there. Read more
There's just no easy was to say it other than terrible. The absolute greasiest I have ever had. LJS quality has really gone... downhill over the years and it truly proves why so many of the stores are going out of business. The speed was horrible too. They had us parked close to 30 minutes. Now, I've worked in fast food before. It doesn't take 30 minutes to out an ordertogether. I'm done with LJS. Read more
Staff were pretty good, not on top of their game, but decent. Split a family fish dinner. Fish-decent Slaw-cold and... fresh Mac&cheese-could have been a lot warmer Hush puppies-awful In all fairness they were replaced with fresh ones with in afew minutes. (Which were wonderful thank you) Over all a good experience. Read more
I love LJS food. But it seems as if the wheels are falling off. My last 3 visits (different stores) have been progressively... regressive. Culminating in today's worse experience to date. HUSH PUPPIES... Love them but these were extremely overcooked. COMPLETELY through the entire thing. There was zero light colored dough in the center. I crushed the second one with my fingersand it was as if someone was trying to make charcoal. The entire thing turned to greasy dust. Read more
Very Very Very Disappointed in this Restaurant!! Ordered a 8 piece shrimp meal (L3) and A 2 piece white meal w/ an Xtra Lg cole... slaw to go. And 2 crab cakes. Cashier told me all she had was white meat at that time which was gonna work well since I wanteda white meat meal. When we got home , the chicken meal had a thigh and the smallest wing I have ever seen . not to mention thechicken was dry as a bone like it had been sitting there for hours!! The shrimp meal had 6 pieces instead of 8 , and no fries.!!Just Shrimp 6 pieces and 2 hushpuppies! I try as mush as I can to support my local business but I will Never spend my hardearned money at this kfc/LJS ever again. I recommend driving to another before you spend your money.
