Always perfect food and staff is wonderful! Tomato Bisque is a fave but not one thing have I ever eaten there has been a... disappointment, in fact it?s all always above my expectations!! Wish there was one off the square and opened more but Iunderstand because I?ve owned one and I know the owner is 100% loyal and the reason it is THE ABSOLUTE BEST is because she haskept the customers happy and has kept the prices reasonable!! You must try this if u have not!! Oh and just a hint.. chickensalad and tuna melt with tomato bisque or ANY SOUP THEY HAVE IS DIVINE???? Read more
This is a quaint little place tucked away in the corner of the square. I got the Tennessee Hot Brown and my wife got a... sandwich/salad combo. Both meals were really good. I had the Tennessee Hot Brown, which was a good twist on the original. Ithink if I were going to make it at home, I would add more Swiss cheese into the Bechemel to give it some tartness to go alongwith the ham, turkey, and bacon. The bread was fluffy under the sauce. Her salad and sandwich were good. Even the half sandwichwas a good portion size for her. We look forward to exploring more of the menu. Read more
First time at this restaurant, we booked a reservation for 4 on Easter Sunday ????. The service was very warm, Southern style.... We asked for outside seating due to our little ones making so much noise and it was no problems ????. I ordered Egg Benedictside of fruit and mozzarella cheese salad, they were all delicious. They figured out how to make great flavor of Benedict!! Icould cut through my English muffin ????. Not all restaurants know how to do this. (Trust me I have eaten at many brunch placesincluding one in Amsterdam ) My husband loved them too especially the mozzarella cheese salad! Great coffee and cheese cake????. We chose to be in a slower pace and calm for Easter this year and Square Market & Cafe didn?t let us down. Read more
First time dining here and had a wonderful experience. The staff was friendly and the food was delicious. A cozy cafe tucked... in the corner of the square and it was very busy at the noon hour, which is always a good sign. We put our name in around11:45am and were seated by noon. The house made chicken salad had wonderful flavor and the cranberries added a nice touch, butlet me rave about that crab bisque. It was awesome! Thick and rich, just loaded with crab. Made with ??! The menu had a niceselection, certainly something for everyone. We had a child with us and the kid?s menu offered all the kid favorites. Overallhighly recommend and looking forward to trying other items on the menu in the near future. Read more
This is the place, that is usually described in small-town novels. The biggest problem you'll have is deciding, what to choose... from the menu or the cake display case!! Service is wonderful and patiently tending to the above mentioned choice-challenged customer. Read more
