Truly a night out vibe. I enjoyed the food. The atmosphere screams Italian dinner business or pleasure. The meatballs were... good. The house salad was basic. Muletown has an actually good Italian restaurant finally! Read more
Best Italian food I’ve had in a very long time! We met friends there for dinner tonight. We drove about 45 minutes from our... town to Columbia and were not disappointed! Definitely make reservations because the seating area is limited. The interior isdecorated nicely with several tables in the center and booths lining 2 walls. They don’t play music which was nice because wecould carry on a conversation without talking over the music. Our server was friendly and attentive throughout dinner. Westarted with 2 appetizers, the baked/fried ravioli and the basil pesto cheese flatbread. See pictures for menu names. Theravioli was full of delicious stuffing inside a crispy pasta served with a rich tomato marinara. It’s a generous serving of 6large raviolis. The flatbread is cheesy with a swirl of fresh basil pesto on top. For dinner, I ordered cheese lasagna with redsauce. I was going to get meat sauce, but it was a mixture of beef and pork, which I don’t like. The lasagna was thick withseveral layers of pasta and cheese and the serving size was generous. My friend ordered the pizza with fig jam, bacon, smokedpork, mozzarella, and goat cheese topped with arugula and balsamic glaze. The crust was crispy and it was topped with plenty offresh arugula. She really liked it. The other entree we ordered was linguini pasta with shrimp, onions, peppers, chicken, andItalian sausage tossed with a spicy white sauce. There were large shrimp and plenty of the listed ingredients. The sauce wascreamy and flavorful. We ordered the tiramisu and cannoli for dessert. The tiramisu was flavorful, but too dense… which isjust a personal preference. We will definitely return sooner than later. We spent about $45 per person which included a glass ofwine, appetizer, entree, and dessert! A lovely evening with friends! Read more
I'm new in town and don't know all the great places so I look for reviews on the web. Last night, I was craving Italian and... found Barino. It looked good, had mostly good reviews so I ordered lasagna and Bolognese to take out. The order was correct andon time. However, I was disappointed when I got it home. The restaurant is very stingy with their sauce and there was only about3 tablespoons of marinara on each item. Since their lasagna is baked with no sauce, after 3 bites you are left with half theorder without sauce and although very tasty, it was too dry to eat. The Bolognese was only a bit better. At least all thespaghetti pasta had a tinge of red colour. Big waste of $50. 2 stars for effort... I guess I'm forced to go back to my ownkitchen for good Italian. Read more
I was craving Italian food, so I decided to try this place out. The food was amazing and the service was great too. Sadly, I... can't remember the name of the server anymore. Still, I'll probably be making a reservation and returning sooner than later. Iwas expecting decent food, and my expectations were blown out of the water. Read more
This place is absolutely great. Definitely fine dining Italian Eatery with southern twist! The dining room is gorgeous! The food... was delicious! I had the fried sampler and it was delicious, especially with the marina sauce that was given. My choice ofentree was the pork pasta with crisp apple slivers on top. The sauce was abousultely flavorful and tasty. As well, thecheesecake topped the night off. They had a selection of wine, but we didn't try any, but I feel like the wine would be tastefulwith the food. 100% will try this place again once I'm off the Keto diet ???? Read more
