Wife, son, and I stopped here on our way back from Florida. "Mal" was awesome. I only put her name in quotes because my wife... forbade me from making any Firefly references. "Brown-shirts!" The food was incredible, recommendations were on point, and thisestablishment is highly-recommended. If you are a fan of beer, they have a few local breweries on tap that are quite nice(IPAs). The food was really good. It's a casual spot, so you can go in shorts and a t-shirt (which was a concern I had). Wemostly ordered off of the special menu, but not entirely. In terms of beer, I had a westbrook IPA (very nice), and a noda hopdrop and roll ( awesome). Read more
My friends and I had a great experience here. Service was fantastic - our waitress was very attentive and patient enough to... accommodate several picture-taking requests. Great wine and whiskey selection. The scallops (special menu) were fantastic andcooked perfectly. I especially appreciate that we were not rushed out to turn the table after eating and were able to hang outfor a while. Read more
First time visitor. Really enjoyed our experience. Has a great, dark, intimate feel on the inside, but is also much bigger than... appears from the outside. Our waitress Mary was wonderful. She made great recommendations on food and drinks. We got the friedBrussels sprouts as an appetizer which were delicious and then the meals below, which were also very flavorful and with goodportion sizes. Friendly wait staff and decor was fitting. Braised short rib was very tender, but did not have much flavor. Salads are very... standard. They pair well with their main courses. Overall a good experience, but need to add a few more flavors to their dishes.This is a nice middle class restaurant. Read more
