We took a detour on our way to Charleston and it was totally worth it!! The grits were amazing, creamy and delicious. The hash... browns were the best part. This would be a 5 star review, because the food, character and company of this restaurant establishment is all on point! Having... said that, I had to detract one point regarding the atmosphere. Specifically (not trying to be mean, just trying to be honest),the table was really sticky from the last patron. It never got wiped down, not did anyone offer. Been going here for the past few months. The staff is very friendly and have good customer service. There?s so much to choose... from!!! The fish & grits and turkey wing dinners are my favorite. The deserts are good also. Would high recommend if you wantcountry soul food cooking . Very affordable!!! Read more

The breakfast was delicious and so was the coffee. The waitress was very nice. The decor is dated and it was alittle warm... inside but aside from that, they are better than Waffle House and I?ll be back most definitely. Read more
