Ordered two large trays of pimento cheese, ham salad, chicken salad and cream cheese and pineapple sandwiches for a wedding... celebration on Saturday October 15th. When the order was delivered to the church it was unbeknownst to me that the ham salad wasreplaced with egg salad because I was a member of the wedding party. I phoned this morning to address the issue spoke with avery rude female employee and her responses were, I should've brought them back, well the people ate them and what do you expectus to do? So I guess she was saying that I should've stopped the wedding and bring the trays back to them so that they could gothrough and pick out the egg salad sandwiches and replace them with the ham salad. It wasn't a major issue until she began todisplay her unpleasant, unprofessional and idiotic behavior when offering such ignorant suggestions as a solution. And yes Theydid consumed the sandwiches but They neither ordered nor paid for them I did and I expected to get what I paid for just as shewould if it were her. Read more
I've passed by this place so much and we finally decided to stop and have lunch here. New favorite lunch spot for sure! It's... such a cute spot, and the burgers were EXCELLENT. We both got a bacon cheeseburger basket with fries and onion rings. I loveonion rings and these were great. We will definitely be coming back here! Read more
employees were friendly and helpful. I got the food bar, everything I had was good, including the lemon pound cake. I did take... one star off because the coleslaw was in a bowl on the side table,but not on ice. Read more
First time here and it was great! Cool little locally owned spot, I think they've been around for something like 75 years!!... Awesome. I got the western omelet with hash browns and a side of pancakes and it was exactly what I wanted. Pancakes were dense,I like em that way, flavorful and the omelet was just the right amount. Great food! I had the roast beef sub and it was delicious, plus the wait was less than 10 minutes.
I just enjoyed a very good pimento burger along with fresh cut french fries at Mathis Sandwich Shop in Irmo. This place is busy... as the food is varied and good. They even have a meat and vegetables option. Their breakfasts are great along with thesandwiches they have for lunch and catering. The tea is home brewed which is an added plus. Read more
This place was highly recommended and so I thought I'd give it a try. Please see the pictures provided. The bacon cheese fries... were not fresh, but instead were soggy and had almost no toppings. The sandwich was extremely tiny for a sub sandwich. The orderwas hand-delivered. It blows my mind that something like this was approved from the kitchen. Great friendly staff and very accommodating. They when out of their way to prepare a no carb wrap that wasn?t on the menu. ... Lady on her own lunch when in back to make it for for me. KUDOS!! I will be back. Read more
