Pretty decent breakfast. The country ham was nice and salty. I ended up taking all the fixing from the plate and built a pretty... decent sandwich. Ordered a burger on the side based off previous reviews. The burger was very generic and dry. However the bunsthey use are quite delicious. The server kept calling me ?babe? and ?baby? which was really not appreciated, especially given mywife was clearly on FaceTime with me. Maybe it?s a geographical thing for the area I?m not used to but it made for a reallyuncomfortable experience. The ketchup bottles and table were a little dirty. I have to preface this by saying I **REALLY** miss our beloved LT on Beltline near Rosewood. Tried this location for breakfast... with mom recently and it just wasn't up to par. The restaurant didn't have the sparkly clean feeling of our old favorite, andwhile the service was ok, I wish the server would have mentioned that Columbia's funky water problem was affecting theirbeverage options. We forgot and ordered tea ...undrinkable, and we would have gladly paid for something bottled. Read more
Had fried catfish, black-eyed beans (with diced onion added at my request), and a double portion of cornbread dressing. The... meal was delicious. Our server was as nice as she could be, but she was also a bit overwhelmed (I feel like they wereunderstaffed when I visited). This was my first time here, my waitress (one with english accent or similar) came to table and asked if I was ready, I asked... for a menu (can I see a menu first?) She replied, most people look online. (Oh Kay) but she did bring it. Then she forgot aboutme! She proceed to wait on a family of four, brought them water etc. Then she came over to my table and jokingly said, "Iforgot to take your order didn't I?" "I noticed when I went to get your food I never took the order" hahaha, well I wasn't happyand had lost my appetite because I felt a type of way...
