The food taste pretty good but the service was not good at all. The waitress acted as if she did not want to deal with us. Then... we came during lunch time at 1pm and expected to be ordering off the lunch portion of the menu. But to our surprised we werecharged for dinner portions and when asking the waitress about this she stated that lunch and dinner is served all day andshould be specified when ordering. Honestly I was apprehensive when for our Anniversary my spouse chose this restaurant. Jamaican food is hit and miss when you... have been to Jamaica and have close Jamaican friends. However, flavors were on POINT! 2 meat combo oxtail and jerk was cooked toperfection. Rice was beautiful and perfect. Also had wings and fries. Crispy to perfection (not over cooked)... juicy anddelicious. Nice portions for the price. Cocktails were reasonably priced. And Audrey was a delight. *plant ???? Gods words AndCandy gave perfect service! Never had to wait for a refill! Patio area is spacious and you can still hear and enjoy the jams! Iwould however recommend someone maintain the front doors. This My second time here to a disappointment. I wish this establishment give ppl fresh food. I mean everything fresh to go, and... not cooked then perhaps sitting for a long periods of time then heated up in the microwave. If I wanted microwaved food I knowwhere to go and not having to pay almost 20.00 a plate. I appreciate the establishment, has music to vibe w and sit down andeat, ppl are kool. But come folks don't know what ppl are going through and just want a fresh hot meal. My food was partly hotand some cold, the chicken was not jerk chicken not spicy jerk at all, and was dry, the Mac an dry cheese???? no please! FreshMac and cheese please, thank you!oh the beans and rice was nuked too and the rice was not fully cooked like eating popcorn. Youcan tell the food is put in the microwave from the bottom of the styrofoam plate. That's why I posted that pic w the styrofoamplate , the plate starts to melt and draw up looking hard. I do not use the microwave, if I thought I'd be buying food that'sbeen cooked and then put in microwave what's the point. Please give ppl especially your ppl what they are paying for. Not foodreheated in the microwave partially hot partially cold food/partially warm dry food. My thing is would you eat this, I mean if aserver served you some old dry mac and cheese or food that been sitting and had to reheat it in the microwave. Beef patties have to be one of the easier items for them to make. Made a trip up to Columbia just to go to legacy. 8 beef... patties and oxtails. Gas is almost $5 and the restaurant is 40 minutes away. Never again. Read more
I stopped in while I was in town looking for some flavor. Found Legacy. Quick service. Food looked great. Taste was good,I was... expecting a little more intense flavor but over all it was good. Oxtails were very tender. Plantains cooked perfect. Thefacility is a great party hangout place large bar, pool tables and outdoor seating . My only complaint the Ginger beer had zerosugar which gave it a odd taste. Read more
Order jerk chicken & cattleman wings. As you can see my wings looked nor tasted like what I paid for. The oxtails were tough and... had a tangy taste. First and last time ever eating there again. Hands down the best Caribbean place in South Carolina. The menu is so accommodating that you'll be comfortable with whatever you... choose to eat. The aura inside is one of arts and culture. The music is very endearing and it gives you the complete islandvibe. ????. The cooks are natural chefs. The waisters and servers give quick and efficient service. The bartenders are thebest!!!
