Great location.... Bar service seemed weak. The female seemed confused. And after waiting a bit while she carried on a... conversion she finally got another guy to take my order. After he took the order she proceeded to say something about me havingto ask if I could order. She would get frustrated having to change channels. And all this with a half empty bar at thetime.. The dip was like water and didn't even taste like cheese. Chicken and fries were cold! Cold like they had beensitting. Needles to say nor a place I'll come back to on Game day. If there was a 6 star or higher option I would give it. The seasoning on the nachos is house made and delicious. Our son ordered... the chicken strips and okra and it was the best we've ever had. Their burgers were wonderful too. Don't forget theirMac-n-cheese! Service was amazing. Read more
Came here with a group from work for lunch. The food was ok but not 5 star worthy. I had the "Cap'n Crunch" tenders, and they... tasted like any other tenders except possibly a little over cooked. The cheese grits were very good. Unfortunately, 2 of mycoworkers had the shrimp and grits and were not terribly impressed. Their grits looked a bit runny and the dish lacked any tassoor andouille that you'd typically find. Both said they'd avoid that if returning. Not good. Took us five minutes of standing around for someone to come in and seat us, then another 10 minutes for someone to... come get our drink orders. I would understand if it were busy, but there was one two top inside and a three top on the patiobesides us. Took another five minutes to actually get said drinks and place our orders. Food Took forever, about 35 minutes toget to us. Once again, if it were busy I would understand but the place was empty. Yhe employees were all hanging out outsidechatting and having drinks. Food wasn't good. My husband had a burger that was under done (seriously, 35 minutes and it wasn'teven fully cooked) but on the flip side my pork chops were so dry I think they cooked them every bit of those 35 minutes. It wasa paper thin porkchop, it should have taken ten minutes to cook at absolute most (as a previous chef, I know it wouldn't havetaken longer). I choked down one but didn't finish the other. The Mac and cheese tasted like over boiled noodles with Velveetamelted over top, and the baked beans had a thick film on top in their little bowl which makes me think they put them in the bowllong before they brought it out. It wasn't the cleanest place I've ever been to. The picture is from the booth seat I was in.It's harder to see because it was dark in there, but it was covered in crumbs and yuck. The outlet was gross and full of fingerprints, the floor looked like it hadn't been swept in weeks, and the windows were gross. Wouldn't send my worst enemy there. Clean, organized with great drink selections and very tasty food. Menu not so large that you don't have to worry that they can't... make everything well. Super service. We sat at the corner of the bar so the four of us could carry on a conversation easily.Spotless restrooms. I always prefer a venue where I can see the food preparation. Have to try the shrimp Po boy. 1st time visiting. Everyone was friendly. The service was good but the food was on point. I will be going back. We had the BBQ... sliders, catfish nuggets, margarita pitcher, and hot dogs with fries. The BBQ sauces were great. I loved the Chipotle one butthose catfish nuggets were omg so freaking good. We actually ended up ordering another appetizer of those and that is all mysister says everytime we pass by is we should stop and get some more catfish nuggets. I will be back with more friends. I stopped by to pick up lunch. I ordered a Caesar salad and catfish bites. The catfish bites were seasoned to perfection and... freshly made. But the star of my lunch was the side Caesar salad!!! The dressing tastes like it's homemade or at least doctoredup. The lettuce was crisp and fresh. Shaved parmesan cheese and well seasoned croutons. Devine!!! This is my new favorite placeto eat!!
