A clean restaurant, good atmosphere and we liked the feel of a small restaurant. We only had to wait about 15 minutes for a... table, did not seem like an extremely busy night. Waiter was polite but we did not see him very much at all. After orderingdrinks, appetizer, and entrees we waited a good 20 minutes before asking if maybe they had forgotten about our bread. Thewaiter’s response was that they only serve it if requested. We weren't offered bread when we ordered but said that’s fineand requested it at that time. The bread arrived shortly and about 10 minutes later our charcuterie board. For $16 it was verysmall and portions sufficient for 1 person. After another 30 minutes, minimum, the scallops arrived and there were three smallscallops, for $31. It came with about 2 tablespoons of beans and lacked the asparagus stated on the menu. We ate in peace and, when asked, we politely stated it was not the best experience and didn't feel the quality or quantity of the food justified thewait or the expense. They offered to put in an additional order, but we did not have time to wait as it took incredibly longfrom start to finish. If you want to risk the service end, it could possibly improve on a different night. If you are a lighteater and don't mind the higher prices you could be fine as well. We can't give it 1-2 stars because the food wasn't bad, andthey were not blatantly rude. We are just used to a greater level of service, higher quality food and better value for what wereceive. 10/5 star food and service kinda restaurant. Dress up or come casual. Staff is so nice and attentive. For brunch, I love... ordering a La Vie en Noir, a side of crispy potatoes to start, and the French toast (best on the east coast) or the GrilledSalmon. Read more

Had the most fantastic dinner tonight from start to finish. They opened the door for us as we arrived and the service was top... notch from there. Cocktails were all incredible and there wasn’t a bite left of our dinner. Everything was amazing, but wethink the scallops were our favorite. Our server was wonderful and we can’t wait to dine again. Oh my!! The staff at Hampton Street Vineyard were amazing!! Don't get me wrong, the food was superb, but our server was on top... of it from the moment we walked in. She made the experience exactly what we needed to celebrate a special graduation event. Theyaccommodated a party of 6 (one of which was a 2-yr-old) for a late lunch like we were a two-top. Wine, as expected, wasexcellent (duh...hence the name of the place) and the 5 different entrees we ordered were absolutely delicious! Spent over 2hours there and never felt rushed or imposing. Thank you! Read more

Went for lunch. I like that there is indoor and outdoor seating. There were maybe four customers and it took a little while to... get my steak salad. The food was delicious! The waitress was very nice. The quality of the food is so good! Read more

Good.. not great. I have been here before. I had the mussels but anyways: I had the grilled peach salad with a Blueberry... Spitzer. The salad was just not enough food for the price, I was disappointed. The addition of the salmon made the meal morefilling, however the goat cheese was a creamy compliment to the peach, but I wish the peach was more grilled. The mostdisappointing part was the blueberry spritzer, as you see there was ice above the glass only giving me literally 5 sips until itwas empty. This restaurant is good, classy, but do better.
