Having visited about 20 different Cracker Barrel locations, I must unfortunately write this mediocre review. Server didn't come... to our table for nearly 10 minutes after host sat us without utensils. Not to mention 5 people at a 4 top table. Server when shecame by periodically was nice, but forgot 4 different items ordered. 2 were additional sides, gravy on the side instead of onthe roast beef, and vinegar for greens. Store had a lot of great things for the upcoming Christmas holiday. I also noticed amanager really not doing anything helpful or useful pretty much for the 80 minutes we were there. Yes 80 minutes, no wait, butfood took quite a while. Then waiting on silverware and finally the check. I'd say staff needs to be retrained, replaced,something needs to happen. We have been going there since we moved here five years ago. I have never seen it so dirty our table was sticky the chairs had... food pieces. The floor under the table had food smashed French fries , chicken, it was so sticky my shoes kept sticking to thefloor. Our salt shaker on the table had looked like ants. Ordered food to-go & as soon as I started to eat, I noticed a fly cooked in my meatloaf. I?m so disappointed but I?m glad I... noticed it before I ate it. This is exactly why I pray over my food! Read more
Terrible service!!! OMG?? I dont know if the unpleasant waitress forgot to put our order in or the cook forgot to cook our food,... but we were seated, placed our order and than basically forgotten! The server walked all around us delivering food to othertables as we waited nearly 30 mins without being checked on, and instead of apologizing for our wait she sent a manger over tocheck on us, no explanation was provided by the manager as to why we were still waiting while others people that were seatedafter us were eating already. She just said our food is being plated ( with a very strong, dismissive personality -as she couldtell we were irritated ). Soooo we ended up getting our food 45 to an hour later. Where is customer service these day???? Imust say?. The food came out hot and fresh, but it did not make up for the loss time and awful service that was provided! Tip:Do Better!!!! We wont be back! So I have no qualms with cracker barrel. But man would I never go back after this experience. This totally flies in the face to... the experience we had at one off I95 in Georgia. The waitress was very odd, she would just stand there and stare at us insilence. It was just under 2 hours from the time we got there until we left, which is absolutely ridiculous. The place was emptywhen we got there, less than half full when we left. The steak fries and salad were by far the best things our family had.Though the lack of good salad dressings is a shame and doesn't do the salad justice. The maple bacon chicken was actually prettygood. But the mashed potatoes were dry and not very warm. The corn was flavorless, like completely flavorless. The mac andcheese was cold. The steak came out looking like a piece of rubber, the non burnt parts were okay but it looked nothing like thephotos online. The first set of biscuits were cooked perfectly, but the second batch were undercooked and doughy. I was in the mood for a big Breakfast, so I stopped by to Dine In. While waiting to be seated, I must say, I enjoyed shopping... within the Country Store. It took me down memory lane. Just had the worst experience picking up a breakfast to go order. I usually love Cracker Barrel but so disappointed with my... order this morning. First the pick up time was not accurate & we had to wait an additional 30-40 mins. When we asked for anupdate at the counter, the lady wasn?t much help. When we open up our bag at home we come to find out we?re missing an order ofpancakes, we got no syrup, & one of the plates just looks so sad, the bacon was super tiny, barely got any eggs.
