Do not get their grits. Horrible. It came cold and you can tell it has been sitting there for long time. I told a service lady... and she just took it to microwave and never came back. Then we spoke to a different waiter and finally got it back. Not veryfresh at all - everything. Coffee was pretty awful too. Only tea was good because it was tea bag. Not sure what?s wrong withtheir kitchen and employee training. When we paid with our credit card, we got two charges and were confused. We went to talkto the waiter Devin P and he then said oh he made a mistake so we got two bills. He could have told us when giving us thereceipts! Bizarre service, food and everything. I had hoped this experience was as good as the one I had in Savannah Georgia. It was and they even went the extra mile to... provide me with heated syrup. Jess and Stormi were welcoming and very friendly. Great food, atmosphere and great service.Definitely returning! Read more
This food is amazing.... they are always busy. The food is hot and flavorful. We had to sit at the bar but service was still... good. I'm not sure when their not busy. The pancakes were a little darker than I would like but the flavor was amazing. Friendhad shrimp & grits. All she wanted to know is if they are located where she's relocating. It was her first visit. My third. Every visit I try something different. This is one of my faves. Plan to wait some unless your reserve which I completelysuggest. They accommodate larger parties very well. Decided to come here as there is one back home. The place is very nice, very relax atmosphere and staff is super friendly. Had... the Cinnamon roll french toasts and they were delicious. Super cute coffee mug! My server (Jessica) was very attentive and ontop of things. Great experience. Read more
Very yummy! Coffee & cranberry mimosa were great! I ate the crab cake benedict & it was fabulous with the city grits, delish! ... My husband had the chilaquiles. We weren?t really a fan of those. They are not your ?original? from Mexico taste. If you liketo eat chili then you?ll love them. Overall it was a great experience! Lots of people waiting but if you don?t mind eating onthe patio, you can seat yourself when the first table is available!! Enjoy! Read more
Allen was awesome and did a great job making sure that we had everything we needed. The manager also informed us that they ran... out of pancake batter and had been using a different batter. The truck came and they remade the pancakes and gave them to us togo, just to make sure we were completely satisfied with the food. Oh yeah, and they gave us some free beignets (that wereawesome by the way) since they had to remake our pancakes. I give this location a 10 out of 10. Read more
Friends, this place is legit. The City Grits are absolutely fantastic. I'm not typically a fan of pecans, but their banana rum... pecan pancakes - wow. Our waiter was so kind and helpful. The entire staff was warm and professional. And mimosas make earlymornings more pleasant. Read more
We had a good experience, and decided to eat here again. Furthermore, I wanted to see if they were constant with the food and... service. Sadly, I have to say, the food was good and the service was on point. And, they were busy. I hand a breakfast burgerwith egg, ham, and ground-beef served with hollandaise sauce. If I was nitpicking, (I guess I am) please press the beef to thesize of the bun (and more beef, your customers will not complain). Do you remember the old Wendy's commercial? "Where the Beef"!Yeah, look at the pic and you tell me. However, food was good in spite of the beef situation. Again, add more beef and flattenthe patties all the way out. In my humble opinion. ????
