We went looking for traditional Korean flavors and found them. Trendy upscale feel with great staff. After having been in S.... Korea for some time we definitely have opinions about Korean food and this place measures up. Highly recommend. And they haveSoju which is a bonus. We had the spicy pork stir fry, the pork belly and the Korean pancake for an appetizer and the Koreandessert (forgot the name but it?s a street food in S Korea.) All were top notch. We also like that we could have brought ourkiddo and he would have been welcome. Read more

I DO NOT say this lightly. This place deserves 6 stars. The evening started out with a bartender who absolutely knows what he is... doing, spot on recommendations with drinks that tasted far better than expected. Followed by thee best wok fried Udon of mylife! Reserve your table or stop in and sit at the bar you will not be disappointed. Read more

In town for business at Fort Jackson, I'm glad we came across this amazing place to eat. The wait staff was very friendly, even... though it's a small place the wait to dine isnt very long. We loved everything about the food and the service. Definitely worthtrying a few other items on the menu. Read more

As a lover of Korean food, 929 really delivers in an upscale vibe. Note: seating is limited, do try reserve over the weekend;... also, they have happy hour. Their drinks were unique and tasty, usually not a fan of egg whites but theirs are whipped anddelicious. You have to try their chicken wings (pictured) - awesome! They hold true to flavors and can make things quite spicy.Oh - the korean pancake desert was a nice end to the meal. I personally loved the vibes and food here, and would recommend! ig:@harshaeats Read more

There's plenty of amazing Korean restaurants in Columbia. The food is good here, but I think this place caters more towards... folks who are looking for an upscale dining experience rather than authentic food. I also think that this restaurant is a morepalatable place for people who haven't been introduced to Korean cuisine.. I was surprised that you had to pay for the banchanrather than getting it with your meal- which is something I'm not used to! I don't think I would come back just for the food, but the service is good (with the exemption that most of the staff doesn't wear masks) and the atmosphere is nice. Drinks anddessert were good too. Arrived on a Friday afternoon around 12pm. We found parking very close, there was parking within a 3 minute walk of restaurant,... paid $1 to park for 1 hr and 20 minutes (this is necessary if you aren?t a local lol we came an hour away from Augusta and hadno idea you have to pay to park around this area). Entering the restaurant, we were told about a 15 minute wait for a table butwe could sit at the bar immediately. There was not a soul at the bar but as we sat, it filled up quickly. I?m not sure who thebartender/waiter was but he was a young, Asian man..he was AMAZING, I wish I would have gotten his name. He was attentive andquick, answered all my questions regarding the menu and made a HELL of a drink! We ordered the bulgogi kimchi fries as ourappetizer, I would highly recommend these. If you unfamiliar with kimchi, it is a very sour yet spicy fermented cabbage. Mixedwith the sweet bulgogi beef and topped with nacho cheese. OMG! So many flavors. Absolutely delicious. For our entrees, my bfordered the soy garlic chicken wings w truffle fries and I ordered the spicy pork japchae (stretchy clear rice noodles w stirfried meat and veggies). I ordered this at the medium spice and it was perfect. My bf?s soy garlic wings were also very good, flavor was good and they were fried perfectly crispy! Overall, I?d give the food and service a 5 and I would definitely returnwhen in this area. Smaller dining room so I can imagine it may be more of a wait at busier times but I would say this place isworth the wait! Also, I?d say this place is quite affordable. Three cocktails (one a double), one yuzu lemonade, one app and twoentrees was only $75. Read more
