Had dinner there last night. Cute place, great service and delicious food. I had the halibut with chili crisp and it was... amazing. My party also had the Parmesan fries, Chris?s hot chicken sandwich, tuna salad sandwich and posole. They all saideverything was delicious. One person said the hot chicken sandwich was definitely hot. I would just like to say that our server was phenomenal even with all the mishaps with the kitchen and serving such a large... group. She was great and we all left amazing tips for her! The food here was pretty great! For appetizers we ordered the porksliders, cheese curds, Parmesan fries, and veggie crab cakes. The pork sliders seriously need to be a dish all on their ownbecause they were so damn good. Like seriously, it was mouth watering and so crisp and flavorful! The fries and the cheese curdswere good too, however, we did have issue with several batches of fries coming out cold, but when they were hot, they were sogood and with the house made ketchup, it just took them up a notch. The cheese curds have a little spice to them and I lovedthat. The veggie crab cakes were not that good but that?s okay be the rest of the appetizers we tried made up for them. As fordrinks, I ordered the Rose Garden and the Hannah May! Both of these drinks were absolutely amazing. The way the flavors mixedand the body that they had, it was so good!! If I lived closer, I?d come back for the drink menu alone. And for entrées, Iordered the scallops with roasted peanuts and noodles. This was my first time having scallops, so I didn?t have manyexpectations but god these were so GOOD!! Like, I seriously contemplated ordering another plate of just the scallops alone! The ambience is wonderful for a group dinner and the food was absolutely delicious. This was my second time at sycamore and the... food and drinks did not disappoint. We had the fried oysters and beet salad as appetizers which were both very good. My husbandordered the scallops which were cooked perfectly and the flavors were amazing. We also ordered the ribeye, pork chop, andgnocchi. Everything was superb. Would definitely recommend for a great dinner and evening out in Columbia. Read more
Lovely atmosphere, great service and pretty good food. My chicken sandwich was huge and cooked very well. Appetizers were good... and the fries were perfect. Wife says the ice cream was too boozy though (that's a her thing though) and we both thought theapples were undercooked. Overall a nice meal. Read more
This is a great place for groups and social dining with good service and tasty drinks. I recommend making reservations if you... have a group. My favorite thing about this restaurant is the atmosphere. A long open style room, restored tile floors, lightthat streams in from the windows, and bench seating. The food is fresh and tasty. There is a good list of menu items anddrinks to choose from and we had a pleasant dining experience. Read more

I should have listened to the server's recommendations for food. He advised against the Gnocchi (I'm a veg so the options were... limited). It wasn't very good. Too mushy and chewy, not much flavor. The appetizers and my partners salmon was great. Read more
