Ordered delivery for our hospital. I was notified that the cookies were delivered however they had not arrived. I called the... store and spoke to the manager that answered the phone. He spoke between me and the driver and told me he dropped them off atthe correct location. After arguing with me he offered to redeliver. That never happened. I called the others hospitals in townand found the cookies delivered to the wrong hospital. By that time it was after hours so I had to call again the next day. Iinformed him I still never received the cookies. He assured me they were delivered again but offered a refund. I understand thatsometimes the drivers get lost. However to be argued with then offered a redeliver for it to not happen is frustrating. Thisisn't the first time this has happened, but its the first time they have argued with me about not getting the delivery. Read more
Huge shout out to the awesome staff at Hot Box Cookies on Broadway in Downtown Columbia, MO! My husband is working downtown as a... security guard and went in for a couple cookies. He liked them and called and asked if I wanted a couple. I have a peanutallergy and when he told the employees about it, they are specially cooking a new peanut free batch just so he can bring me homea couple cookies!! You guys rock!! The 4.1 rating doesn?t give this place its due dessert ;). The cookies were VERY reasonably priced and were excellent quality. I... recommend the ice cream - it was almost too much to eat! I love Hot Box cookies! Its always my only choice when it comes to cookies. Today was the first bad experience I have had with... them. I order cookies online and have them delivered. Sometimes I pick them up from the store but prefer the delivery method.The cookies I received today were so greasy. The oatmeal cookies tasted like greasy dough batter. The other cookies were bakedright but too greasy. If I continue to buy cookies from here, I will never order online again!! Read more
They make a good fresh cookie, which is probably the most important thing. They also deliver which is a great customer service.... My main issue is that they can be a little pricey for a per cookie price. However on a late night and someone ordered somehotbox cookies, no one is ever disappointed by that. Read more
I'm gonna say it, Hot Box is better than Insomnia. They have a better selection of cookie flavours, the ambiance is hipper and... grittier inside which makes the entire cookie experience unique, the cookies themselves are the ideal ratio of crunchy, butteryoutsides and warm, soft insides. I got oatmeal chocolate chip and peanutbutter chocolate chip but will be back to try moreflavours! They also have the option for icecream sandwhiches or icing too! Read more
Awesome cookies! Big, fresh soft and when they're warm, omg!!! I've had 2 boxes of 6 and one box of 12; Peanut butter, chocolate... chip and M&Mand every cookie was delicious. One negative: the boxes fall apart VERY easily, so be careful. They are prettyflimsy. But I still scored them a 5 ??. Because the cookies and the people were great! . Read more
