First time trying this place out from friend's recommendation. Didn't know what to order and asked the person at the store... (possibly manager) for help. Asked for two of his favorite/recommendations if he were to order for his family. We got oneSouthern chicken and one customized w Rightous Chicken + buttermilk + fried + pimento + boom boom. These biscuit sandwichesare not your normal sized biscuits from Popeyes or KFC. They are about double the size, moist and buttery biscuits w friedchicken and other condiments. Very very tasty. Just had one of the best biscuits ever. I?ve actually never had a biscuit with blueberry?s but it?s something I?ll go back for... again and again at this Rise. So so good. I really wanted to like this place. I just can?t support it anymore after multiple failed attempts. What I will say is that if... all you want are biscuits or donuts, you will not be disappointed. Just don?t EVER order anything else. One time, I ordered abiscuit with ham. When I first bit into it, it tasted off. Upon inspection, the ham was old and gray. Something the staff couldnot miss. They clearly served me ROTTEN MEAT. I tried again a couple of months later, same response. And this time there was anegg on my sandwich?I?m allergic to eggs. So, allergy eggs AND rotten meat. So, silly me?thought maybe the issue is with ham andnot the establishment, so I ordered bacon. The attached photo is what I paid $8 for. And unsurprisingly, the guy (VERY friendlyto customers but all of the staff appear terrified on shift) who expedites now staples the bags shut so customers don?t checktheir orders in the shop. I am convinced this is the reason. No establishment could be this bad about customer service and foodfreshness without knowing. It is a conscious choice at this point. Great service and somehow even better food at a price that isn?t too much higher than drive through fast food. I?ve never gotten... bad food here: chicken, biscuits, or breakfast sandwiches and grits. F?ing amazing; the cheerwine donuts would be worth it atthree times the price and double the calories. Worst service ever! Wish I could give -2 stars. My boyfriend and I wanted to try a new spot. It was busy but we waited about 30... mins for two orders of chicken tenders biscuits and fries. Very disappointed with our order. The chicken tenders were little andso damn dry like they were sitting in a heated tray for a while. The fries had no seasoning on them. The biscuit was warm butdry. No sauce or jelly on the side. I feel like if we waited that long for our food it should have came out hot and fresh notdry and shriveled up.We went back in to tell them about our order and the gentleman at the front disregard what we said and toldus that it was seasoning on the fries. Didn?t say anything about the dried up tenders or apologize about the food. Seemed likehe had an attitude and at that point I just wanted a refund so I could get out of there.
