The vegetable samosa were excellent! The flavor was great and the pastry was light and flaky. The Chicken Tikka Masala was... delicious; the sauce was creamy and the blend of spices just perfect! The chicken was tender and wasn't dry. Ditto on thechicken curry with potato BD, really good flavor and cooked just right. Def going back to explore the menu a bit! Read more
This was some of the worst indian food we have ever eaten. We had bland, greasy biryani, somosa chat that smelled rotten,... garlic naan with raw garlic, and chicken tikka masala, which was not spicy at all and Incredibly greasy. The tikka masala didnot even come with rice, just chicken and naan. 3 of us ordered and all 3 of us disliked it. Read more
A Hidden GEM! Store & Take Out Restaurant Combo I was so shocked to find this place, that I rushed back to the car to get my... mom. Single words that describe my experience: CLEAN, ORGANIZED, VARIETY, AUTHENTIC and I love the prices!! :) The gentlemen whoruns it is soooooo sweet!! Google maps will direct you towards the back with the trucks. Just swing around the front and go upthe stairs to find this place. IT IS WORTH WALKING IN! This place should have more reviews but Google is doing it a disservice.I told the gentleman that this place is wonderful, but difficult to find, and he confided in me that he has trouble withtechnology and can't seem to get Google to feature it correctly. Look bro, this store/restaurant mix is a hidden gem. Sis happened to live close by and we wanted some indian so we stopped by,... google maps directed us to the back building and toward the front we noticed a family pulling up, it sparked our curiosity so weparked and walked up towards the front, and then the store is there. Upon entering, it was extremely organized and clean! Pricesare extremely low, An item I buy at walmart for 9 bucks was 3 bucks over here. Yes? I was shocked too. The owner was extremelysweet, he told us his vision for the store and told us how the maps does that and they?ve lost customers from that confusion! :/Anyways! I have been shopping at Masala Bazaar for many years. And I have been eating their samosas for just as many. I consider them to... be the best samosas of anyplace in the Baltimore/Washington corridor. A couple of years ago they opened a carryout in the backof the store. I had the great pleasure of finally trying something other than the samosas. Everything I ate was SO delicious!!!Next time you need lunch or dinner to go I recommend you give them a call!!! (I had the Dal Tarka, Palak Paneer, Chicken SheekKabob, and of course samosas.) Read more
