We were trying to order at the register and there were two employees talking very loudly behind the cashier to the point that... she could not hear my order. She got very flustered and had to ask me to repeat my order three or four times. My boyfriend and Iordered two coffees and two sandwiches. It was a little over $20. We went and sat down and had our food in about 10 minutes, butno drink. We ate the sandwiches which were okay but not great. We sat and talked for a while. Still no drinks. About 45 minutesafter we ordered, we noticed no one was making drinks anymore. My boyfriend asked an employee if they were still making ourdrinks. The employee was very kind and apologized profusely. He upsized our drinks at no charge. However, the drinks were alsonot very good. The customer service (aside from the employee who made our drinks at the end) was worse than the food and drinks.From having to repeat my order three times at the beginning because the other employees were yelling right at the register tohaving our order forgotten about, I would not recommend going here, especially if you?re looking for a quick and relaxingbreakfast. Great little nook and good food, AMAZING coffee!
Only a review about the coffee beans?I only came in one time to get some beans! It?s a cute place, more of a cafe than a coffee... shop. I got some Costa Rican beans and asked that they be ground for pour over. The flavor of the coffee is great! But mygrounds were far far too coarse for pour over. I used them in my French press, but there was also somehow tons of silt (likesuper fine grounds) in my cup of coffee. I don?t know how it?s both too coarse AND too fine. I?m guessing it?s something abouttheir grinder? I don?t know. They have tons of flavor options so if you?re not a specialty coffee drinker it might be a greatselection for you. As a more traditional coffee drinker, I was disappointed and probably won?t go here again. Read more
My father came home with this ?egg and bacon sandwich?. This is truly shocking, as you can see the egg is thick, phony looking,... and clearly microwaved. The texture was also the consistency of a hockey puck. Very shocked and disappointed by this. We wereexcited to support a sweet black owned business, but this sandwich is unacceptable, and unfortunately we won?t be back. Read more
Stopped by while in Columbia. Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Probably one of the best cups of coffee I?ve had in... awhile. Lots of flavor options, including sugar free. Much better than that chain coffee shops! Also, had some of the mostdelicious looking muffins I?ve ever seen- definitely going to be my main breakfast spot while in town. Read more
Tons of different flavored beans. Would have been nice if i got what i ordered. Asked for the seasonal pumpkin spiced roast, got... what i suspect what some kind of blubbery flavor. Also ordered a B-E-C breakfast sandwich, the group of 5 patrons behind me inline got their sandwiches before i reminded them about mine. I?ll go somewhere else next time I?m in the area. Read more
