First - a shout out to Bri for amazing friendly service. We were a group of 5 & had to wait for about 15-20 minutes for everyone... to arrive. Bri made sure we had drinks & appetizers in a super timely manner while we waited. Food was amazing- you can?t gowrong with anything you order! Restaurant was clean. Everything was cooked to perfection! Great vibe inside - tables aren?tcrowded & it was easy to have a conversation. Both outdoor and indoor seating are available. Westside Cantina was one of my favorite places we ate while visiting Colorado Springs. I was so glad they had gluten free/vegan... options especially the jackfruit quesadilla. It?s so hard to find good gluten free tortillas and the ones they use for theJackfruit Quesadilla was so good, and didn?t fall apart like other gluten free quesadillas. Also couldn?t believe their FriedAvocado taco was gluten free as well, and had more than enough filling. My hubby got the Jackfruit Barbacoa taco and sweetplantains. Absolutely delicious gourmet tacos in a fun atmosphere to celebrating Lucha culture. Margaritas are also superb - with numerous... mezcal options. Practically half of the menu is vegan, with unique tastes to each of the tacos. It can be difficult to choosebetween the jackfruit, tofu, avocado, or mushroom tacos - all excellent. A coworker of mine recommended this place. I think she talked it up way more than she should have. Although the service was good... and the atmosphere was nice, the food lacked. Pretty presentation, but hardly any flavor, I felt like the quesabirria neededsalt, even the juice was bland :(. My favorite thing was the drink I had (salty b*tch). Overall, would not return.
