We got there and the place was packed on Sunday morning. We went in and we were greeted by Katrina and we took a seat. There... were people still coming to the door and Katrina did a great job greeting. She said it would be about a 10-minute wait althoughevery seat was full. It didn't take too long before we got a table. Once we sat down our server was a very sweet young man. Hegreeted us with appropriate greetings and he brought everything to the table that we needed with no hesitations. I really feltsome type of hospitality. We had a great breakfast and a great start to our Sunday morning. The thing that really made me wantto go here is I always remember they have good grits. And the grits did not disappoint again they were spot-on with cheese andbutter and they were so yummy. Read more
Everything you expect and love about a waffle house. My friends and I always come here after a rough game of bingo on a Saturday... night and let me tell you, this waffle house has to be my favorite. There's always a tweaker in a corner, the place is always alittle dirty and your table certainly is never clean, the employees are most likely just scraping by and on something, and totip it off there's an abandoned mobility scooter every single time I'm here. Now anywhere else would cause a diningestablishment to be risky, concerning, and not have anyone's service, but something about waffle house makes all of this just socozy and on brand. The employees here are pretty fun and don't take much serious, they crack jokes and play good music. The foodfor sure isn't made with thought or love, it probably isn't even clean, but it is the absolute greatest meal a human could feaston. Justin gave absolutely the best customer service I've ever received, cracked good jokes, made excellent conversation and also... provided the food quickly, hash browns were nice golden and brown, and he made THE BEST light bacon. He nailed my tasteperfectly, John seemed like he didn't want to be there and was kinda dragging around. Floors were pretty dirty for a foodestablishment as well, but heavy foot traffic will do that.
