First time stopping by, but honestly on par with other great Pho spots I?ve been too. Spring rolls were tasty, and the pho was... filling! The rest of the menu looks really nice too. I haven't been to another local Vietnamese restaurant that has the spirit and tenacity to prepare such a wide variety of... traditional and ethic food. Although they pride themselves as a Vietnamese restaurant, I see plenty of crossovers that representthe South East Asian cooking. It does take someone who understands food preparation and the appreciation of Asian food to seewhy they didn't just offer what is simple and main stream like many other Vietnamese restaurants you'll find in town. Ordered a pad thai for delivery on Door Dash. The noodles, chicken, and beef are dry and the food tastes old like it's left... overs from yesterday. Completely inedible, horrible food and a waste of money, do not eat here. Read more
The current 4.2/5 rating for this place makes no sense to me. I haven't been to Vietnam or anything to try the most authentic... food, but I've always felt I've had good standards for Vietnamese food. This place raised my bar. Most important thing: food was incredible. Portions were amazing. Soooo tasty. Just everything you need and so good. However I... left sort of upset. I ordered the steak pho (one of the regularly priced pho options on the menu as I was trying to be budgetconscious). I was in there with 10 people and we had been sat at two tables (one of 7 and one of 4). Another awesome detail: thefood seemed to come out super fast and was not lacking in quality like I said. Anyway. They bring out our food and give us eachour plates (as far as I?m concerned). We?re not told the names as they come out and they just place them in front of us. Mine isincredible. Finished it all and then had to leave early and so went up to pay at the front. I was expecting a bill no higherthan $15. However, it came out to $20.45. I looked at the receipt and I told him that I had actually gotten the steak. He said.?No. Your friend got your steak and you got the filet mignon. That?s why it was so good.? There was also a automatic 20% tipdue to a ?large group.? I was not warned about this and we also were not larger than the family beside us so idk. Anyway. Greatfood just felt miffed. Edit: came back. Changed from 4 stars to 2. Smaller group this time (only 7, we fit at a table and hadan open seat even). There was still an assumed gratuity so I?m wondering if it?s just because we?re college kids it?s assumedthat we won?t tip so they add one. Anyway. I ordered a small this time because the small is plenty big (love the portionsizes!). I really expected to have no issues. But I get up to the till and I tell him I ordered a small beef pho. He says okay.However, he charges me for a medium. But doesn?t tell me. I notice it on the receipt and say ?oh I said I had a small.?
