Came here when we couldn?t get into another restaurant and BOY AM I SO HAPPY WE DID!!! We had a party of 6, so there was a 35... minute wait at 9am, but I?m not surprised why! You can use Yelp waitlist to get on the list earlier though (which I will do nexttime). The food for everyone was cooked PERFECTLY and the service was top notch. The restaurant is a bit loud due to the openfloor plan but they have outside seating available as well. We will definitely make this a regular place for our breakfastgroup! Read more
We had an early breakfast and the service and entrees were great. A bit pricy for my thin wallet however. I was especially... shocked when I saw the bill and the price for an 8 ounce glass of milk was the same amount I could buy 128 ounces (1 gallon) ofmilk for at the grocery store. $3.50!! Really!? Super busy place. Definitely try it once. The food was really good and cooked perfectly. They place was so busy though they were... running out of cups and it took longer than usual to get food. But the wait was worth it! The food on the main menu is reallygood. We tried the "funky monkey" special pancake and it was okay. Black Bear has the best pancakes though. Great restaurant. Worth frequenting. Food: spectacular. I have come here many times over the past years to the point of being a... regular. I have had most food items on the menu, and have rarely been disappointed with the food taste, quality, andpresentation. In those rare cases of dissatisfaction, I have spoken up and they have made it right. Service: great. Managementis attentive and friendly. Servers are always friendly, and visit appropriately, not checking in too frequently or infrequently.I have rarely ever seen the bottom of my water or coffee mug. Most servers know me by name at this point, with exception of newhires and one server who just doesn?t remember each time. Atmosphere: relaxed. A welcoming and restful breakfast/ brunch nook.Outdoor seating when the weather is nice is ideal. Price: good. I have most always found the food to be worth it the cost.Drinks, however, can be a little pricier. They taste good, but I don?t always think that the cost is worth it for the drinks. Read more
