Reviews for Tucanos Brazilian Grill in Colorado Springs, CO
Upon entry, my party and I were greeted by friendly smiles and a wholesome entry. My peculiar interest to this restaurant lies... with the simple question, ?How would you guys like your meat?? ?Medium rare!?, as my party shouted in almost unison. I couldn?tbelieve the formatting of the restaurant it was a fusion of light hearty meals on a buffet style with a round robin selection ofmeats greeted by the wait staff in a light manner. However, smiles quickly turned to frowns due to round and after round afterround of being greeted by the toughest most well done meats this side of the Mississippi! I quickly found it humorous that thesimple question of how we would like our meats to be prepared was even asked?perplexed actually! I found the meats rather mid,and I?m not talking mid rare. 4/10 Read more
It's always a great place to dine at. The wait staff is friendly and amazing. Delicious salad bar and meat selections. Dessert... is absolutely amazing, it's hard to make a decision about which one to choose. Read more
Step into a loud, fun, and exciting atmosphere!!!! When we first walked in, we were a bit shocked with how loud it was, but soon... after hearing everyone around, and the excitement in the dishes, we loved it!!! We came at a very busy time, but hadreservations, even though they had a wait, our reservations were ready right on time. As for the serving staff, I was supernervous after reading some reviews, I should have never listened to them! Our waiter was OUTSTANDING, he explained how it allworks here, and was so welcoming. You order some drinks, and then go to the salad bar where there is PLENTY of choice. Then youhave a table sign you flip to green when you're ready to try some of the meats that rotate, from steak, to fish, to chicken, andseveral other things! It was so much fun, but our tummies are angry with how much we forced ourselves to eat. Love love lovelove this place, can't wait to come back!!!!!!! Read more
Cheap for an all you can eat style restaurant. Read my review to determine if it is worth it to you. - Waited 15 minutes and... there was only 3 tables of people and it's a large restaurant! -Takes forever to get drinks, 10-15 min every time we ordered abeer/cocktail -Makayla was our waitress and not friendly from the very beginning of even getting our waters! She was rude, andnot very helpful. There was 5 of us and none of us were happy with her. When getting our tickets, she started to try toconversate with us and be friendly but did not make up for the experience with her. -The meat Server food guy was super great, kind, and polite, as well as our second server -Food is hit and miss. There is several options of food that rotate but one timeit would be dry and overcooked, then the next time it would be tender and great! -Great salad bar with many options! -Greatprice: 2 IPA's, and food was only $33. -Everyone else was super friendly. Excelente. My brother Victor and I dined there on Monday the 28 of March and since Victor was just visiting America I thought he... would enjoy Americas impression of the food and culture of his country or at least have a good laugh ???? but when we walkedthough the dor we he was confused on why they were eating all that stuff because they don?t eat it in ???????? haha. He said thefeijoada and the meats were like at home, and 10/10 I would recommend the chicken hearts. But all in all I would recommend thisfine establishment to any amigo or member of mi familia. The method of buffet and then a rotating assortment of meats was interesting but delicious. The garlic medallions were by far... the best. A few cuts were gristly when the server wasn't paying attention to his cuts but the quality more than made up for it.Nothing was overcooked and the salad bar was incredible. Desserts on point. Overall a fantastic experience and delicious food! The entryway was bright and colorful with large garage doors as windows. The... full salad bar and sides are all fantastic! We ate fresh and crisp salad with tons of toppings. Mashed potatoes, quail eggs, pasta salads, soups, fried bananas, and many more sides to choose from. My mother-in-law and I ordered the Piranha cocktail andit was super smooth. Beehive honey wheat draft beer was clean and lightly hoppy. The waiters walked around with multipleselections of meats slipped off sticks directly onto your plate at your table. Very unique experience. A couple of us were notfans of the teriyaki meat because it was super chewy. I strongly recommend this restaurant! Read more
Great place for a fun and special night. It is always a fun experience. You can choose from a large salad buffet and they bring... meats, fish, vegetables and pineapple to the tables. As long you want them to come, you keep your "traffic light" green. Whenyou need a break or are done your turn it read. They also have yummy homemade lemonades (unlimited refills). You should alsosign up for the tucanos club to receive rewards and a free meal for your birthday month. Plenty of parking around therestaurant. If you come with a bigger group you should make sure to make reservations because they can get really busy. Read more
