I was just asked to leave because "I wasn't spending any money." When broached by the gentleman down stairs about paying a cover... charge. I was told it was $10 but by friend was told it "a donation of $5 or $10". I was personally invited by one of theperformers to observe their set and was just patiently waiting. Due to the fact that I am paid to be at parties and to viewperformances, I did not want to be accused of working for free by sitting in on there performers so I mostly waited upstairs andoutside. I will not say that the fact my friend and I were the only people of color in the establishment, had anything to dowith it. But considering neither him or I drink, and it was cold outside, I do not understand what the problem was. There was noentry fee at the front door. The whole experience was awkward, unsettling and I would not recommend this place to my friends ofcolor to perform. I am always one to give my flowers where they are due, but none are due here.
