Reviews for Taste of Philly in Colorado Springs, CO
The young man/teen (Frank) working the counter was so friendly and provided exemplary service to me and the other patrons. Kid... deserves a raise! Food was also great. First time in: ordered the Green Chile Philly and Pepper Philly and a side of fries.Food was hot and fresh. Very tasty! BIG portions so we've learned that next time, one sandwich will do the trick. This is one of our favorite places to eat in the entire city! It's always fresh. We've had to wait a little bit before, but it's... totally worth the wait. Always, worth it! Read more
Husband And I tried their sub. Price is good and the sun was great. Will do it again. The inside is clean and atmosphere is... great. Service is fast for amount of customers dine in that time. Highly recommended ?? Read more
First time eating there & will definitely go back. Thankfully we shared as portions were big. Had Chicken Parm, a plate of onion... rings & coleslaw. Everything tasted great ???? might have been the best coleslaw we ever ate. Thanks ???? Read more
Just called to order delivery - direct because I don't want some middle man (grub hub, etc) taking money from local places. I... was told that delivery orders were only through grubhub. Okay, I started an order through grubhub. My ~$20 dollar order becamealmost $35 after "fees". Taste of Philly can forget my business from now on. There was "taxes and fees'", delivery fee,Colorado "retail delivery fee", and a forced "tip" ( I always tip 20-30%, but come on.). You have now permanently lost mybusiness by partnering with skeezy middle men. I tried to work with you and give you my money directly but okay. I'm not payingnearly double - your food is good, but not THAT good. Good bye. Read more
A good spot to grab an "almost" authentic Philly Cheese Steak sandwich. Friendly and cheerful staff, sanitary dining area, but... my take home sandwich just wasn't quite all that tasty, like maybe the steak was freezer burned. I will probably give themanother chance anyway, as have never had a bad experience before. Read more
The Cheesesteak Fries are killer. I was actually headed for the spot next door but construction outside of Piglatin Cocina... diverted me to Taste of Philly. I had been to the location on South Academy so I didn't have high hopes. However, I waspleasantly surprised. They have a nice sized dining room with a good mix of booths and tables. The waitress I had was quick andefficient and got my order going right away. Usually I would go with a steak sandwich, but decided to try the CheesesteakFries. Great decision, as it was so good. I had my fries done 'The Works' style and it looked amazing when it came out. Andtastewise, it was everything I wanted. I was completely full and satisfied when I left. I only knocked off a star because mybooth table was sticky, so maybe they could be a little more diligent with the table cleaning. Read more
Delicious but pricey! $40 for 2 Phillies and 1 order of mushrooms w tax & tip. No drinks. Online orders are useless if you're... trying to save time. I get it, you don't drop mushrooms until we get here...give me an option to write a note on the order, so Idon't wait 15min after I get here. Read more
