I will start off by saying that the waitress here is amazing. She is so nice and genuinely caring and she deserves so much... better. Now, people with food alergies or dietary restrictions be warned. They don't actually include everything in a dish onthe item descriptions of the menu so... Be warned of that. On that note; why is the cook sticking his hands directly into yourfood without gloves on? Who can say. I know he didn't wash his hands the entire time I was watching him. Through multiple ordersand downtime! He used the same unwashed hands to add meat to one dish and then immediately went to garnish a vegan dish. Thereis such a high contamination risk and honestly, it's just unsanitary! The food is absolutely not good enough to risk thisbehavior. Read more

The broth!!!! Dang. Such deep flavor! Ok, I had the oxtail and it was absolutely amazing! A great balance of pickled carrots and... grilled radicchio to brighten such silky tender richness. We waited over an hour. I guess for the boa buns to cook. The pork belly was ok, but the buns themselves were kind of flat. When... we did finally get the ramen it was pretty disappointing. Meat was over cooked, dry, and surprisingly cold. There was someclumping of the noodles. They recently updated their Vegan menu, their servers are very polite. We ordered Vegetable Poststickers for appetizer. For... entrees, we tried Orange Seitan Donburi, Mushroom Stew, and Chicken Kaarage Lo Mein from the Vegan menu. While we enjoyed theappetizer and first two entrees, Lo Mein was too sweet for our taste. They should get an insect zapper, number of flies. Read more

The first time I went was a few months ago and I loved the food, the service and the environment. Last time they didn?t serve... much, but it filled me enough. This time I went the waitress was EXCELLENT. Loved the service, real nice, fast, attentive. Thefood, the ramen texture was weird, the broth was a bit weird too, my friend told me it tasted like fish. I don?t think I?ve ever left a bad review for a place because it?s just not the type of person I am but I?d really hate for... someone to waste their money here like I did. There?s nothing more disappointing than spending money on something that?s notgood so if I can prevent that from happening it?s worth it. I didn?t read the reviews before going and now that I?m postingthis one I see I?m not alone in these feelings. I barely ate any of my ramen because I genuinely couldn?t do it. I got the porkbelly and it was $18 and had very little flavor, the pork belly was tough and the noodles were mushy and clumped together(seepicture) My boyfriend got the rippin rooster and I tried his also, his noodles were the same consistency but his did have moreflavor. Overpriced for what is offered. To start. Chicken karaage ($11) they offer is basically overpriced orange chicken from Panda... Express. See picture for comparison with one I just googled.. Wasn't good. I ordered the Pork Belly Ramen ($18) --disappointed. Non-marinated and plain boiled eggs, and fried pork belly when I was expecting chashu. Giving it two starsbecause maybe in the past it was 1:1 with an authentic Japanese restaurant -- but maybe someone complained about it so theychanged it to become what they are now. Maybe if the owner gave more money to the chef instead of purchasing art, the foodwouldn't be so average.. Oh well. If you've had authentic ramen in your life you will be disappointed. Save yourself sometrouble and just go get a burger or something. But if you REEAAAALY want ramen this place is much better than Tokyo Joe's (theyuse udon noodles and weird stuff for their ramen and that in itself is sacrilege). Read more

I?ve been coming here for years now and I try to sample each new menu when my schedule permits. Tonight (2/9/22) was fantastic!... The new renovations really create a wonderful ambiance while the food just brings it home! Excellent culinary artwork at itsfinest! Drink: Ginseng Old Fashioned-Delicious and refreshing. Apps: Spicy edamame-Brings a nice heat Chickenpotstickers-Crispy on the outside and full of flavor on the inside Main: Steak and Eggs bowl-Delicious noodles in a tomatobroth with just the right amount of heat in it.
