Overall: decent. Would try again. Service: average. Waitress was friendly, but not particularly attentive. Was not blown away... with hospitality. Visited on a Monday morning and it seemed as though there were one chef in the kitchen and one waitressrunning the house. Being seated was easy, once we were noticed. Server forgot our jam for toast, but no other mishaps. Food:decent. Hash browns were way better than the country potatoes. Actually, the hash browns were some of the best I have tasted ata restaurant. Bacon was crispy and also tasty. Everything else seemed rather average in taste. My omelet was decent, and mygirlfriend's traditional breakfast was bland. The presentation of the food was average as well. Coffee was okay, maybe a littlestrong. The cinnamon roll sounded good, though we did not try it. Cost: maybe slightly high for the quality. Atmosphere: fun.The posters on the wall were funny/ entertaining. Rock City Café is definitely a hole-in-the-wall breakfast nook/ diner - thekind of place that exists because of regulars. I don't know that I would want to be a regular, but I would try again. Barely mediocre food at high prices. Huevos rancheros we?re basically green peppers on top of a tortilla. Barely any protein.... Only saving grace is the workers they are very friendly. I?d say it?s a last resort for any breakfast. Read more
Very good breakfast. I really enjoyed the chill environment and the way feature local businesses on their tables. It was done... very classy and shows they support local businesses. Service was very good also. I had the corned beef hash and I tried a sideorder of the biscuits and gravy. My meal was very tasty and I will definitely be back. Read more
Their French Toast ???????????? my dear heavens. It sounded good when i read it on the menu and it tasted AHMAZING when i was... eating it. The quantity for the price too ! A fairly large serving furnished with all the fine breakfast kisses you could everdream of ! Our waiter was also SUPER NICE, very cordial, very kind, and also, very funny. It?s stinks that they close shortlyafter lunch, because THIS PLACE IS GREAT. I have always been a fan of small diner feeling. They care about the customers, theycare about the food, AND they care about how the customers feel after they enjoy their food. I swear if more people eat here,gas prices would drop below a dollar again. Stop overpaying for poor quality breakfast foods at other places and EAT HERE. . .EAT HERE NOW ! Read more
Delicious!! The burrito is a monster. Definitely try the half and half, which is the green chili sauce and country gravy. The... Huevos Racheros also did not disappoint. I will be back, for sure. Read more
Amazing cafe! My daughter and I wanted to try something new and found this restaurant. Amazing service and great decor. Also,... the food was very good and reasonably priced. I love they served breakfast all day. My reuben sandwich was excellent and mydaughter loved her country fried steak. We will be back again with the entire family! Read more
This is a great place to get into if you can! The food was amazing. Danielle was quick and friendly. Although the pancakes were... too chewy for my personal preference, everything else was great. Will definitely be coming back. I love their wall signs. Read more
Rock City Cafe is the go-to breakfast restaurant for my family! Service is phenomenal, the staff are wonderful, and the food is... AMAZING! everything is made fresh and delicious.
