Does everything have hot sauce in it? Went with a group at lunch and we ordered Deviled eggs, hot wings, and spinach dip to... start. The wings were fine, the dip pretty good but the deviled eggs…had hot sauce in the yolk. I know there is debate aboutsweet vs savory deviled eggs, but the hot sauce was just weird no matter which side of the debate you fall on. Outside of thesauce oddity, they were super bland. Bacon did nothing to save it. Then our entrees came out and the hot sauce sunk into myChicken Fried Chicken via the batter. It was so weird to have a vinegary batter smothered in cream gravy. Our original plan was to try out Tucanos Brazilian Grill but upon walking in the wait time was 20-30min. We had seen that Rock... Bottom was right in the front and we decided to go here instead. Best decision ever! The food was delicious! I ordered the Cajunfish tacos and my boyfriend ordered the Texas fire ribeye. The only thing I did not like was that the fish tacos only had a fewpieces of fish. It was more tortilla and lettuce. Honestly, I Expected Better. I've Been To The Rock Bottom On The 16th Street Mall & They Set The Bar HIGH. I Ordered The... "Ribeye" Medium Rare With The Garlic Mashed Potatoes & Mac N Cheese (Pictured) Well, The Steak Wasn't Cooked To My Order. TheyOver-Cooked It. Was One Of The Thinnest Ribeyes I'd Ever Seen & There Was No Marbling To It. Just Sad. The Mashed Potatoes WereGood But Pretty Cold. Same For The Mac. My Hubby Ordered The Cajun Fish Tacos (Pictured) & Waffle Fries. The Tacos Were Good,Could've Used More Sauce, Less Lettuce, & More Fish. They Were Just Portioned Incorrectly. & Of Course, The Fries Weren't HotEither. The Best Thing We Enjoyed Were The Drinks. While this place is a chain, this location is nothing but. Jerimiah will make you the best Bloody Mary you’ve ever had. Kenny... will make your gut hurt with his jokes. Meghan is always attentive and will make sure your drink if full with a kind smile. Officially I would rate this place around a 3.5. The interior was comfortable, well lit and the service was quite friendly. I... got the cheeseburger with bacon, waffle fries, flavored ice tea, and a caramel cookie milkshake. Overall the food was good, butthe burger was quite greasy. I was also underwhelmed by the milkshake, I expected more from it. Perhaps caramel cookie pieces orstronger caramel rather than the smaller drizzle in the vanilla milkshake. Not bad pricing though. This place was delightful! The atmosphere in the dining room was clean and inviting. We got the soft pretzels. They tasted... great! I would definitely reccomend the Kickstart My Heart sour. First time having Rock Bottom and great experience overall. Our server was Michael and from the beginning he was just a sweet... heart constantly making sure our table was good at all times.
