Really hate to give this 3 stars but mistakes were made. I made reservations here for my wife's birthday. 1st impressions were... great, they acknowledged her birthday multiple times which was awesome, sat us outside got my wife a blanket cause it waschilly. I ordered the burger and she got the steak, medium rare. When she got the steak it completely burnt charred on thebottom. Considering it's a very very thin steak there wasn't much left. They took it back to make her a new one. Meanwhile I sithere with food cause I want to eat with my wife. They get her new steak done correctly, but since I waited mines cold, whatever.They said they gave her dessert for the mistake but I'm pretty sure all restaurants give a free dessert for a birthday. Thewaitress was awesome, she took care of us very well. Manager... Not as much, another family came in towards the end of our issueand they had her full attention, I assume they were friends. We won't go out of our way to come back but I'd go again. Read more
A group of co workers and i decided to stop in after the 7 falls climb. First off, the complaints about expensive - its in the... middle of a tourist attraction of course its premium pricing and nobody forced you to eat there. From past friends who havevisited the food is very good. We personally sat at the bar ordered some drinks (also pricey) but made very well and had appsand deserts. We ate early on a Sunday in the winter and the staff was almost overly friendly just like most people at The Broadmoor property,... but it?s not a complaint, it?s refreshing in this day and age. It will cost $14 to enter the park via a shuttle (no carsallowed). Then it?s a little less than a one mile walk to the base of the falls and the restaurant. Food was terrific. Bisonburger was great and although my wife?s nachos arrived cold, they made some new ones and they were great too. They use porkgreen chili stew on the nachos which was unique. Read more
