Paige was AWESOME Friday night! My cousin was in town from Florida, had played golf here many years ago, but had never dined. I... had some of the best fish and chips I've ever had (those fries are dangerous for the waistline), while he had Ahi tunasomething-or-other (can't remember what the dish was called), and he was very happy, too! My sister hosted a brunch for the girls in the family. The food was sehr gut, and the service was the friendliest I've had since... visiting Japan. We sat on the patio, looking out on the backdrop of mountains and the foreground of green grass and flowers. Thescenery was absolutely gorgeous. My only criticism was that under the tent, it was quite loud, and hard to hear our ownconversation. But lovely. I had chicken fried steak and eggs, with green chili gravy. Delicious! This is a gem in the middle of the city. Amazing views, nice patio and excellent service. The green chili fries were... delicious, the reuben is my husband's favorite and the sweet potato fries with the sauce will keep me coming back. They have anice selection of local beers on tap. The view from the grill and deck is an awesome view of Pikes Peak. The breakfast is really good.

I was there with a Ham Radio group for breakfast. The staff, including management were very pleasant, and made us feel like we... were having a meal with them as friends. Portions were a bit small but good tasting and well plated. Our coffe and pop were keptfull (I drink lots of coffee, so that was important). The venue is a beautiful Golf Club, but welcomes everyone. The view of thegolf course and Pikes Peak are spectacular. They can accommodate individualals and small to large groups. The ambiance is great.Try it. Read more

In the mood for comfort bar food, we decided to go for Patty Jewett Bar & Grill. The drive up to the restaurant takes you... through a quiet neighborhood and opens up to a beautiful golf course driveway that takes you through some of the golfcourse. We were starving and decided to get 2 appetizers and 2 meals to try. The appetizers we ordered were 1/2 (small) orderof Steak Nachos & Mozzarella Sticks. The Mozzarella Sticks were filled generously and there were tons of them. The Steak Nachoswere pretty good for a bar specifically. They make their own chips and you can tell right away, these homemade chips were fresh,crispy and stood up to the toppings. The homemade chips was a great add. We then ordered the Bacon Cheddar Burger and Fish &Chips (Double Order of Onion Rings instead of Fries). My wife enjoyed the Bacon Cheddar Burgwr but after sharing two appetizersshe had to take almost all of it home. We both had to take some of our stuff home, because we didn?t expect to get so much foodfor the price! The fish and onion rings were spot on. This was my first time trying fried fish and I loved it. I?ve had onionrings many places though and these were apart of the top tier. What you?re looking at is a double order of the premium side(onions rings) which still were generous portion sizes! These onion rings were the perfect amount of hot fried coating withquality onions. The onions were well fried and fit the fried fish very well. Overall, this is a spot that people NEED to go to.We got a ton of food for $48 + tip. Great value, better views, but the taste is why Patty Jewett Bar & Grill will be in ourrotation.
