Absolutely incredible. The waiter was very friendly and helpful, and the food was wonderful. This is one of the few restaurants... in the area that has Lassi, and it was even better than I remember. The Pakwan Special was wonderfully flavorful and combinedchicken and lamb in a delightful way. Read more
It would have definitely been 5 stars review but brash behaviour from one of the staff towards end of our meal ruined it for... us.\n\nFirst off, food was really delicious! Closest authentic Indian Punjabi food you can get in CO Springs. We had chanasalad, karahi paneer, cheese naan & chilli paneer - they were all great.\n\nNow about to staff and hospitality- first attendantwe got was polite, professional and I would say perfect! He went above and beyond to find something for my wife’s dietaryrestrictions. Then, we got another attendant (bit short height, bearded fellow) around 2:30pm(which is their closing time) andhe was passively rude and quite unprofessional. Kept coming near our table and looking at his watch and sighing. On top of thisevery serving bowl we would finish he would come and pick it right up and look at his watch again- as we were eating. Eventuallyhe even told us that we should know that they close at 2:30pm, which we obviously knew but every restaurant allows you to finishyour meal even after their closing time. Mind you - we were in the restaurant at 1:50pm, got our last entrée served to us at2:20pm - you cannot expect customer to finish their food in 10 minutes and get out. Either they need to put a sign that theyexpect customers to be out of premises by 2:30pm or make 2pm their closing time. Read more
THE FOOD WAS INCREDIBLE! We were in the mood for Indian food and luckily for us this place had just opened up earlier this week.... The staff was very polite and caring and the food was just *chef’s kiss*. Definitely the best Indian food I’ve had in awhile. I had the Malabari coconut curry pictured and the flavors were just wonderful. I’m so glad we found this place andwe’ll definitely be back. Read more
Hands down the best Indian restaurant i have ever been to, down to the food to the atmosphere and the hospitality. I trust that... you will find nothing better than Pakwan. If you don’t know if you like Indian food come here and try one of there manyoptions and i’m sure you will be back. If i could give it 10 stars i would. Below i had the Shahi paneer and my mate had thebutter chicken along with a garlic and cheese naan. For desert we tried one of the many ice cream options along side gulabjamon. It was mesmerizing, words can’t describe the flavor. It’s a must to eat here. Read more
Excellent Indian food, great atmosphere and top notch staff. They had my childhood favorites and a mix of new aged dishes with... old school flavors. Generous portions, so it’s good to come hungry because you’ll want to eat alllllll their truffle naan.Amazing drinks and they have a full bar so whatever you’re looking for, you’ll get it. It came out quickly but the music andthe vibes don’t make it difficult to wait. It’s definitely my new go to Indian food spot. Read more

I have been seeing rave reviews about pakwan on the Colorado Springs Foodies FB group for a few weeks, and decided to give it a... try this past week. The hostess was there to welcome us promptly, and sat us quickly. We went at 4:30, so it wasn\'t busy atall. The restaurant is very clean and modern feeling: very welcoming and warm(compared to the chilly day outside)!\n\nOurserver came to check on us when we first sat down, asking if we would like drinks from the bar. Neither of us drink, so we toldhim we would just stick with water. I think I may have seen the server roll his eyes, and we felt like from that point on hehad written us off as a \"no drinks, low bill, low tip table.\"\n\nWhile ordering, we asked about the level of heat in thevarious dishes to determine whether to go with \"hot, medium, or mild,\" and the server had suggested starting with the mediumheat and adding chili sauce to increase the heat, if medium wasn\'t quite doing it. My husband is a big fan of spicy things, but you just never know how hot something\'s going to be when you order \"hot,\" so he went with medium to start. He quicklydiscover that he would, in fact, like a bit more of a kick and asked the server if he could take him up on the offer for somechili sauce. We had nearly finished our meals by this time, because he had not come back to our table regularly. He never cameback with the chili sauce, and after 15 minutes of waiting I walked to the bar to request to-go boxes and the check. Thehostess brought us to-go boxes and our server stopped by the table to provide a hand held credit card machine to pay for ourmeal.\n\nThe food was excellent, and we will be going back, but we will likely get our food to go. It all tasted very fresh andflavorful, and we had plenty for a second meal the following evening!\n\nI would highly suggest the waitstaff be trained toprovide high quality and prompt service to all done in customers though. It\'s really off-putting to be at th Read more
