Stumbled across this place looking for dinner and loved the pizza. The Chicago style wasn't as Uno's out other Chicago places,... but it had a flavorful crust, great sauce, and really tasty toppings. What didn't go wrong! From the host being rude, out of PASTA!! how in the world can you be out of pasta at 7 when that is your... thing PASTA and PIZZA! We had to get our own silverware, had to use appetizer plates to eat our pizza which was cold!! , ourdrinks came out wrong, had a waitress roll her eyes at us when we asking for extra sauce. The list just goes on and on!! Neveragain will i go there. We had a party of 7 we all had something go wrong with drinks down to our food! Plus then they only took$15 off of our over $100.00 Bill!! Do I have to give this place a star at all? I just had the worst Old Chicago experience at this place? Our waitress was... terrible. It took 10 minutes just to get our sodas. We went to celebrate my friends mothers birthday and had an unpleasant experience. We were not given menues after being seated... for almost 15 minuets. We ordered apps that came out pretty fast but had to flag our waitress down to give her our food order. It was not busy what so ever but we still waited for almost 45 minuets for our food. It was brought out by another server andthe order was messed up. The birthday girls pizza was not right and mine was also inaccurate. Also my friend ordered a 50/50burger and it did not come out with our food. We let the server who dropped off our orders know it was wrong and she repliedthat we would have to wait for our server since she is not the one who took the order. She said she would be back with theburger but never came back. After 10 minutes we were able to flag our server down to let her know things were messed up, whichto this she pulled out and her book to try and prove us wrong. Don't get me wrong she was very sweet and After that she saw shehad messed up she attempted to fix it and put in another pizza for me and went and got the burger. The burger however was coldalong with the fries and the burger looked awful. It was half the size of the bun. My friend tried to tell her he was unhappybut she did nothing about it. When I got my second pizza it was incorrect again which was when we realized this trip to oldchicgaos was just a disaster. We ended up getting the manager and she was very pleasant and did her best to fix the situation. She comped my pizza and my friends burger, but we did pay full price for our "happy hour" apps. I was more disappointed thatthe waitress after messing up, did not come back to our table ever not to even apologize. We were never rude or inconsiderate,and personally I get embarrassed for complaining because it is something I truly dislike doing especially since I am a severmyself. Read more

Bad food and service. My wife and I stopped here for lunch. She ordered an appetizer salad and I ordered the pizza lunch... special. The salads came quick enough but hers appeared to be several days old. After 20-30 min I received my pizza which wascold. This is odd given that the waitress told me that it was almost ready about 5 minutes before it came when she decided todrop off our check without being asked. I'm usually a 20-25% tipper, especially at lunch. I left no tip for the first time in atleast a decade. Read more

Just terrible. Should have taken the awful smell in the entryway as a warning but we went in anyway. The food was terrible and... the server didn't get specifics about our order, and in fact left out an entire item we had ordered. We didn't even bother tocorrect the mistake. Also, they mixed up what was ordered on separate tickets, attributing an item each to the opposite person.The restaurant itself was unkempt and the table was wobbly. I'll never eat here again. Worst service ever! Group event planner over a month in advance for 30 people and they put 2 waiters on our entire group. There... was no system for getting food out to the right people. One waiter walked through our group and yelled "listen up! If you wantyour beers you better pay attention or else they're going back to the bar!" is that real how you treat customers? People'sorders were given to the wrong person, leaving the one who ordered an hour or more prior without food still. There wereattitudes when asked if they knew how much longer. When food finally did come out, everything was cold or lukewarm. That meansit sat in the kitchen and wasn't checked on by the waiters. Someone ordered coffee and after an hour she finally cancelled theorder and asked for the check. When everyone ordered, they were specific about checks being separate, yet they spent foreverseparating checks. Good food (as always) and great location but the real story is their service! Just had lunch there with my family (including two... rowdy little boys). Our server, Lisa, was outstanding. She took care of our group like we were part of her own family. Themanager was very friendly and went out of his way to come talk to us and leave a gift card for a future visit!
