Reviews for LongHorn Steakhouse in Colorado Springs, CO
I came to celebrate my birthday, and we enjoyed our dinner. I checked in online at home, and the wait was one hour on a Saturday... night. She got salmon and a soda, and I got the 6oz fillet, lobster, and a Texas margarita. It was well prepared, the portionswere large, and our waiter did a great job. It was about 75$ before tip. Is it the location? I?m not sure. My daughter is in town and this Longhorn has been consistently great the last 4 visits. The... atmosphere was chill, the food was good and the cheesecake was problematically amazing. Server was genuinely pleasant. Damn thatdiet. Damn middle aged metabolism?. Read more
Great steak for a great price. The wait might be long for a weekend dinner but it's definitely worth it. They even offered fresh... to go salad! Bartenders are so kind and professional. I went to a chop house up the street on dublin and power and it was noteven worth it compared to longhorn! Such bold flavor and medium rare was cook excellent. Best priced steak out there! Read more
For greeting, hosting, and seating I'd give this place a 1 star but the server and food was definitely worth at least 3. We... tried to call ahead and were told there is no wait so no need to call ahead. We arrived 15 minutes later and were told it was a10-15 min wait. We waited 15 min and went up to host stand to check our status and were told another 5-10 minutes. We explainedhow when we called they said they weren't busy and now we have to wait almost 30 minutes?! That's why we tried to call ahead. Itdidn't look super busy, maybe they went to cuts and had a rush. Idk. Fortunately they found a table BUT it was the worst boothin the restaurant - next to the bathrooms. There were at least 7 open booths around us. From this booth we were able to watchthe guests enter and exit the bathrooms and one lady even managed to drag out a long piece of toilet paper under her shoe andout into the restaurant. This spoke to me about the cleanliness of the bathrooms. It took a little while for the server tofinally acknowledge us but when she did she saw the toilet paper, apologized, and picked it up. I asked to move since myappetite was slowly dissappearing. She, thankfully, accommodated us. We picked up our silverware and menus and moved to a newbooth. From there our server, Marieka, took amazing care of us. She was very attentive and gave us great service! The food anddrinks were also stellar! Highly recommend their old fashioned and filet! The plate was no frills but food was good. Honestly, haven't been here in years and only went because we had a gift card but will probably not be returning anytime soon. Read more
Great job to the managing partner and staff of this establishment. Excellent service throughout from greeting, seating,... ordering, firing, serving, and billing. Our waitress tonight, Stephanie liked her job! It was not hard to tell that therestaurant operations are run by a well trained and highly coordinated team. This was not our first time with Longhorn, buttoday I decided to try their special item, lamb chops. It wasn't a mistake, but I did miss steaks better. I loved how they focusin perfecting the meat to the little details and care they put on their side dishes (I appreciate my Caesar salad served withshaved instead of shredded parmesan and warm bread before the entree). We will definitely come back. Read more
I would go back. Great food. Service was ok. The wait was about 15 mins at 2 in the afternoon on a Saturday. I let the host... know we wanted a booth, when she went to sit us it was a half booth so I asked for a booth, on both sides, she then sat us in abooth but I wasn?t too happy about sitting right next to the restrooms I voiced this but the hostess didn?t acknowledge it- butit all worked out. Our server was decent. The food presentation (main entree) was kind of a mess as you can see the Brusselssprout out of the dish, the steak hanging off the plate. Our steak wasn?t nearly as seasoned as I am used to it being here. Itwas still delicious and so very tender (fillet). The salmon was great but I did not care for the bed of rice it was served on.And I do love the Brussels sprouts but would get the sauce they are slathered in on the side. Their side salad was great andthey have an in-house made ranch that pairs perfectly. The fillet and salmon meal was plenty to share with another, so great(sharing) portion size. I have had better dining experiences here in the past and hope the minor things from this visit were afluke. Would return, do recommend. (My apologies on the pictures after some of the food was eaten) Read more

4 stars bc the experience would have been better if it wasn't freezing cold in there. My S.O. had to go get a blanket for me out... of the car, plus i had on a sweater and boots. Sheesh Waitress said "a lot of people say that" when i mentioned it was cold inthere, but they couldn't adjust it. If a lot of people are saying it's cold, then you should probably do somtheing aboutit. Regardless, it was good food. Got French onion soup to warm me up. It wasn't a huge bowl which was good so I didn't stuffmyself. It was on the salty side but flavor was good. The appetizer bread had a wheat rye type flavor. It was good. Got theceaser salad, they put too much dressing on mine and not enough on his. I prefer other places dressing over it but it wasn'tbad. I got the ribeye steak and lobster tail. The steak had good flavor, was cooked to the temp I asked for and was juicy. In myopinion it had too much char on it but not anything I couldn't deal with. The lobster tail was tender and cooked well. I wouldhave preferred a lighter hand on the seasoning or none honestly. It was blackened. Never had it that was. To me it masked allthe lobster flavor. But once I dunked it in the butter (and in doing so rinsed off some of the spice, lol) I liked it better. Ichose the sweet potato as my side. It was cooked well and was large. Ended up taking home a whole meals worth of steak andpotato. It was a lot of food. My s.o. got the t-bone. He said it was wonderful and mentioned multiple times how good it was. Ifwe go back... it would be during the winter... bc then hopefully they'll have the heat on. O.0 Read more
