Reviews for La Baguette Cafe and Espresso Bar in Colorado Springs, CO
Cashiers were very friendly and made the experience better. I had a hot chocolate and a Turkey & Swiss sandwich. I loved the... environment although there was no air conditioning. There was a rude man with a bald head who was rude and disrespectful. If itwasn't for him I would give them 5 stars. Our party had money to spend and was treated as if we didn't have money although wepaid already. We tipped well and left to eat somewhere else since the rude man ruined our experience. We took our moneyelsewhere. The food and vibe are excellent but rude staff made me not want to return anytime soon. Until next time. Read more
I have come here twice and both times it was nothing but pleasant! The french onion soup is the best I?ve ever had and their... sandwiches are always so fresh tasting. Whenever I go I get the roasted coconut latte and a dessert as well. The staff is alwaysso kind and helpful too! I would never hesitate to go back ???? Read more
I paid $12 for a sub par caprese salad that was 90% tomatoes with 1 leaf of basil on it...and it took 35 minutes to get. Best... part about the meal was the side of stale bread. Read more
I read very mixed reviews on this place, and it?s very tired looking, but I finally tried it because it?s close to the hotel I... stay at when I?m in town. I ordered the French onion soup and the salad with chicken salad. The soup was pretty good but thesalad was terrible. Brown lettuce, the tiny scoop of chicken had crust on it like it was old and exposed to the air too long. Iwas honestly afraid to eat it for fear of food poisoning and almost sent it back. Tons of glooped dressing drowned at thebottom. Not worth $12 at all. I would have tried a pastry but everything in the glass case looked old. While the soup was goodenough, I wouldn?t go back with all the other options in the neighborhood. Read more

Quiet atmosphere with coffee house jazz playing. Great place to relax and grab a coffee & croissant out of the cold. Make sure... you have ample time to relax as staff is lacking as are most places around town and food takes around 30-45 minutes for a hamcroissant & tomato baguette. Fresh coffee & great food when it does arrive Read more
I'm not sure what happened. I've been eating here for almost 12 years and lately every other week. I have never had a bad meal... from La Baguette till today. I got a soup and sandwich to go. The french onion soup was cold and just had a pile of un meltedcheese on top. (Pictured below) The croissant for the sandwich was really hard. I ended not even eating the soup after I tastedit. Just way too much salt. I'm really disappointed and sad that my favorite lunch spot might be gone to pasture after so long. It's a shame and I hope things turn around. Read more
Shared a pastrami sandwich and a bowl of French onion soup with my husband here. The pastrami sandwich was good, It was decently... sized And had a well balanced ratio of meat, bread, and veggies. The roll that came with the French onion soup was rock hard, I had heard so many great things about the soup but unfortunately it was more cheese and crouton than actual soup. The soupitself seemed particularly salty. All in all I would still be willing to give this place another go for the French onion soupbecause of all the good things I've heard in the past. I will definitely return If the soup is not fantastic I'll just getsomething different Because the sandwich was quite lovely and the grapes that were served with it were very fresh. Read more
