Food tasted good. Service wasn?t bad but not very friendly. Girl at counter kept saying ?I don?t know? to questions, including... if the soups were made fresh. The most disappointing part was how overpriced it is for the small portions. The sandwich Iordered had a small piece of chicken, a single slice of cheese, one tomato slice, and one piece of lettuce. It was so thin andmostly bread (see picture), and it was $12 and didn?t include a side or chips or anything. (Photo is of 1/2 the sandwich.) Iprobably won?t be back. Read more

The cafe has a welcoming entrance leading up to the ordering counter. The displaying of their bakeries and desserts is very... eye-satisfying. The cafe's ambience, architecture layout, decorations, large windows and seating deserve kudos. These are nodoubt a major upgrade from your regular breakfast from a fast food restaurant. Then it came the part of people and food factor. The staff appeared busy with either their next tasks or distracted with something. I worked in a service industry before andwell aware that the lack of training and high staff turnover is a constant challenge in food industry. But there are quicktricks that all customers would appreciate, smiley and friendly staff that keep eye contact with customers. I ordered acroissant sandwich, a piece of baguette and a regular coffee. I think the croissant was lacking the puff and layering effect, the use of fried egg instead of the fluffy and visual color of scramble egg made the supposedly catchy, playful puff pastry alittle depressing. However, it was flavorful and delicious. The coffee was not warm enough possibly after staying sometime inthe urn? Maybe it was one of those days. Read more

First time here. Went for breakfast, ordered Pancakes with a side of crispy bacon. Expected pancakes to come with butter and... syrup, however received super sweet whipped cream and strawberries with a overly sweet caramel sauce. This should have beenasked what I would like, overall pancakes were fluffy but the toppings were non-edible as too sweet. Really waste of $7.19 forthis. Added another $2.00 for a side of crispy bacon, but bacon was not crispy at all - did not eat. I feel like I wasted $9.19for the main meal, would like a refund. Also tried a Cinnamon Roll, asked for it to be warmed, not warmed, and taste wasalright. Cost $4.99 pricey but understandable. Overall, restaurant was clean inside. Waited about 10 minutes to receive myorder. Read more

Wow, what an amazing experience we had here! We are just tourists passing through and happened to stop by to grab some pastries... for breakfast. As we were browsing the menu, Amy (who we later found out is actually the owner and daughter of the founder ofKneaders) enthusiastically helped us by making some excellent recommendations of what food/drinks to order. Amy went above andbeyond to help us, and even asked us our names, where we were from and chatted us up. Her warm, cheery, enthusiastic personalitycompleted won us over, and it was true hospitality at its best. When we left she even treated our whole family to some delicioustreats and an entire loaf of bread. But even more so, we noticed that while we were there she was training a new employee andwalking her step by step through all the things. She was kind, patient, and she was such a good example for the new employee. All the other employees there were also stellar in their professionalism and courtesy towards us. I was blown away by how kindthey were and not to mention the food was AMAZING. The smoothies were so so yummy, and everything we ordered tasted great! Wewill be going back before we leave Colorado Springs!! It's the small things in ways you treat customers than can make all thedifference and Amy made our day!!! Thank you Amy!! Read more

First time here and enjoyed our experience. Great food and service. I had the the sourdough pancakes and they were fluffy and... tasty. My daughter had the french toast which she said was very good. The portions were generous. Also, the pancakes andfrench toast were all you can eat until 11:00. I enjoyed the relaxed friendly atmosphere. Will definately be back! Read more

This is the second time I?ve been to this kneaders where they?ve given me literally the smallest amount of chicken in the... salads. For an $11 salad this is the amount of chicken you get, and when you ask them about why it?s so little they say ?it?spre portioned.? Honestly a waste of money. Read more

Got the turkey club. Loads of meat; smokey. The bread was soft in the right way and the crust was perfect (just chewy enough).... The first half of the sandwich was plenty but I ate most of the second half as well... and the rosemary chips... no cheesecaketoday but the salted carmel may be on tap for tomorrow... good quality food you will not feel bad about eating...oh, and I sawthey had Irish stew (for a limited time). Update: Irish stew is worth the trip if you are looking for something warm andcomforting. Nice to have something like homecooked. Read more

While I understand food service places being short staffed due to the pandemic, I don't really understand how an order of two... hot chocolates and a slice of coconut cream pie and a slice of cheesecake (both cold case bakery items) would take 35 minutes toserve to the table. While sitting waiting for my order this evening I watched around eight more people come in and order to-go,which they received before I got my order. The only time I have had a longer wait to get a hot beverage was at Starbucks on MainStreet, Magic Kingdom, Walt Disney World, which took 45 minutes. But given that forty people were in line before me there, Icould understand. The pie and hot chocolate are good, but my pie came with the bottom crust plopped next to the filling, and thelids on the cups were ones for cold beverages, but no straws were provided. Unless I want to drink it all here or slop hotchocolate on myself by removing the lid on the drive home, I will need to wait to drink it and reheat it at home. Please supplyyour staff better, and try to get a few more staff, too. Read more
