Best fried chicken I've had in years. My wife and I have lived in the area for 15 years and have driven by JVR numerous times. ... Each time we went by, we say to each other we should stop by there. We finally did and can't wait to go back. They offer allthe chicken you can eat and sides to go along with it. It was amazing. Read more

My wife & I came here after a friend recommended going on a Sunday to get their Nashville hot chicken special & man, am I glad... we did! The service was great, the small old homey atmosphere was comforting, the food was amazing (probably the best friedchicken & apple butter I?ve ever had), & the price was very reasonable for everything included (appetizers, family style entreewith all the fixins, & dessert). Absolutely recommend this place!! Read more

We had a wonderful dinner at Juniper Valley Ranch. My daughter and I had the chicken fried steak and my son had the ham. All... delicious. Desserts come with dinner. I forgot to take pics of our meals... I guess we were too hungry. Lol Enjoy! Read more

Really good home cooked fried chicken! The pricing here is a total per person which includes a starter (sherry or curry/chicken... broth soup and cheese its), a huge plate of chicken, coleslaw, okra, potatoes, gravy, and a crumble dessert. It's $25/personbasically all you can eat. homemade pie is extra. Very cool environment, an old house with dinning in all the little rooms.Staff were very friendly. I only give it 4 stars because we were very surprised by the price. Read more

Solid dining room with attentive and welcoming service. The fried chicken is delightful, not too fried, greasy, or dry. The... potatoes aren?t that flavorful, but all the other sides make up for that. They?ll give you a refill on the food too! Get thehomemade desserts?you?ll be glad you saved some room! Read more

One of the best meals in a restaurant I?ve ever had. Everything is from scratch, served family style. Rich in history, the... atmosphere is welcoming; an adobe structure with a fireplace that gives off a great smell and makes you feel very cozy. Friedchicken is crispy, but not overly greasy. It?s by far the best I?ve ever had. The riced potatoes are light and yummy, but thegravy that comes with them is the perfect texture with tons of flavor. The okra/green bean casserole is amazing. I wassurprised because I?m not much of a green vegetable eater but this has a little heat and some unique spices. Cole slaw is a bitof cabbage heaven. It?s a little sweet with a little bit of vinegar. Cherry cider starter is fun and tasty. I had the flan andchocolate pecan pie for dessert. Like everything there, it did not disappoint. I asked how they made some of this stuff and theysaid it?s a highly guarded family secret. Staff super friendly and proud to be a part of something so special. For the taste andquantity of food, the price is very very reasonable. Wish they were open year round. I don?t know how I?m going to make it tospring without this place. Read more

Had an amazing eating experience here, our waiter Zach was super inviting as was all the staff. Everything we tried was amazing.... After dinner we went over to the gift shop to get some of there famous apple butter and had great conversations with thegentleman working there. On the way out he was kind enough to give us a bouquet of flowers. Overall this experience was sosurprisingly pleasant. 10/10 Read more

Talk about a mom and pop restaurant! This cute little place is a must go to experience. For 4 people it was $100. The menu is... limited, they've been serving the same this for decades, but don't let that scare you because that just means that they've hadtime to perfect it! The place it LITERALLY family ran, so expect to be treated as one of their own! Read more
