I've here a few times, it almost has two personalities. The coffee shop during the day and the one at night. It's relaxing... atmosphere and the friendly staff along with Steller coffee makes this a must visit. We were lucky enough to see a small bandplay, Irish music? Or at least that what it sounded like. Such a lovely place. We enjoyed the ambience, service and the food. The veggie tower was amazing. We packed it for the road and... the food tasted amazing even after hours. The chai tea had perfect spice to it. We also took a Danish cherry pastry which wasequally delicious. They also gave us some mini cinnamon rolls for the road as a gift, which was very sweet. Highly recommendthis place. Read more

This review is about the open mic night on a Wednesday nights. A great place to hear local artists perform in a relaxed... atmosphere. Good food, snacks, drinks and of course performances. Singer songwriters are the mainstay, but you?ll also see asmattering of spoken word performed as well. Read more

Jives has amazing coffee and food, but what is even more impressive is the leadership of this company. The owners are frequently... walking around, asking people how they are, joking, making sure customers are happy, etc. One of the owners has 10 kids! I onlyknow this because I went to college with one of the "kids," and I can honestly say: what an amazing family. I will alwayssupport local, hard-working, family businesses, and Jives is the epitome of all of that. The other co-owner (I believe) isalways friendly, always hustling, and is frequently seen riding his bike to work. These families lead by example and that's rareto see these days. The Mama Mia sandwich is always delicious and fresh. A good and unique drink to try is the spicy mocha, withextra cayenne pepper. ???? Read more

Such an adorable coffee shop! Decided to stop here while I was in Colorado Springs and was not disappointed. The shop itself has... indoor and outdoor seating, and a bookshelf with books that are free for you to look through while you sip on your coffee. Theyalso have a small stand in the corner with musical instruments- where I assume a band plays every once in a while. As far asservice goes, the employees were polite and my food and drink came out super fast. I ordered an iced ?Black Sea?. Super yummy! It was the perfect sweetness and full of flavor. And for food, I ordered a Turkey Provolone Croissant which I definitelyrecommend. It came with chips and some dip. My meal totaled about $15 with drink and food. Definitely recommend stopping here(-: Read more

This is the second time I?ve visited Jives but the first time I ordered food and was NOT disappointed! I ordered the veggie... stack sandwich which was so much food I actually had leftovers. The location is perfect! Permanent sting lights are outside theshop and across the way is a park. It doesn?t get much bette than that! Highly recommend! The family who runs the shop is alsoso charismatic and enjoyable to talk to. Read more

If you are in Old Colorado Springs this is definitely a necessary stop. It's right across from a public park and right around... the corner from the main street. It doesn't just have coffee and has a lot of other treats and food for you to enjoy. Iabsolutely loved the vibe. All walks of life and there was inside and outside sitting/eating areas. I had the caramel delighthot and my daughter had the dark sea iced. Both were delicious. It would highly recommend and would go again! Read more
