Been here twice and can't wait to go again. The owner speaks food, I like to say. He works close with his staff and they make a... really good product. You can customize anything and they do the meats and sides IN HOUSE, which does mean they don't haveeverything all the time, but I don't mind at all. Local, clean, friendly, delicious... check. My son and I were in the area and Grinders popped up on my search. The owner was so incredibly welcoming and kind when we walked... in. We got the corned beef grinder and a chicken Caesar salad. They were both so incredibly tasty. The salad was one of the bestCaesar?s I?ve ever had. We both had to box half of our meals because the portions were so generous! I love finding small localplaces who are killing it, because we?d so much rather support local. Thanks for a great experience! Read more
The sandwiches are great but they rarely have simple stuff like cheese and onions. Seems like they don?t care much about it... either. Only open for a few hours too. $20-$25 for a sandwich and a side is also rather pricey. I probably won?t return. Read more
1st visit and ordered the Italian sandwich to go, checked the order in my vehicle and was sorely disappointed by the size of the... $14 sandwich and the sheer amount of lettuce included on it. Will not visit again. Read more
To leave a five star review I believe that the business should be operating at an exceptionally high level of customer service... and that no significant improvements can be suggested. Grinder Sandwich Company is just that. They are the best sandwich shop intown. Great customer service, the most delicious sandwiches I have ever had, and very fair prices for the quality you receive.Mike, the owner, genuinely cares about his customers and treats them like family. WOW! Just wow?.this place will not disappoint. My husband gets Reubens a lot and he said this was the best! I got the Kaity and... it was great. REAL turkey breast?.not that cheap chopped and formed stuff. Ingredients are of top quality and are not skimpedon. The owner was super friendly and even brought us out a sample of the pulled pork, as I was contemplating it. It was amazing.We will be back for sure. Read more
I just had write about this place as I just discovered it today. If you like comfort soup - oh my goodness - the chicken noodle... soup is absolutely DELICIOUS. Hands down, the best in town. Lots of fresh veggies, broth isn't too salty, noodles are notmushy... excellent. I also ordered the Johnny sandwich and the mixed greens were so fresh and still crisp. I will be back -very soon - to try their other sandwiches and even the huge cinnamon roll I saw on my way out the door (unfortunately)! Thanksfor making my lunch an absolute TREAT today!!! Mike was really awesome. Service was fast, but not rushed. I recommend the Hannah, as recommended by my friend's wife Kassie... Barnes. Baked potato soup and potato salad are awesome!!!!!! Hope to frequently try this place when passing through Eastside ofColorado Springs!!! Just can't compliment this place enough!
