I normally go to wing stop but decided to try Golden Flame since we wanted a better selection of beer. We were pleased to find... competitive pricing and a large selection of combos and sauces. I got the 10 piece, fries, and beer combo that was priced right.The wings were cooked perfectly (crispy but not dry) and my favorite sauce was their habanero mango that made for one of thebest wings I have ever had! The fries were on point too with a generous serving fresh hot fries and delicious seasoning. Thisplace also had amazing customer service and I just felt like these people care! Ordering was weird, seems like they need a bigger place - doing carryout orders by the front door and no room for a line when... ordering or picking up. Service was friendly, though I do wish they would offer the fry portions are plenty to share - I getselling more makes more, but I don't like throwing away a bunch of food being unaware of portion size as a first time customer.Speaking of fries, they were my favorite thing about the visit - freshly made I believe - they were excellent, but unfortunatelyyou don't go to a wing place for the fries. For the main I had the chicken wrap, it was falling apart and extremelyunderwhelming in flavor - I ordered it with the signature medium sauce - sauce was ok. I tried traditional dry rub garlic andwings with medium sauce, while they had a lot of crunch the actual chicken was concerningly dry, I'm all about a good crunch,but not sacrificing the moisture and consistency overall. Amazing food and exceptional customer service! Big shout out to Zoe for making our very first time here a great experience. She... was super upbeat & friendly and allowed us to try the different sauce flavors before picking our final flavors and gave somegreat recommendations! We got both bone-in and boneless wings in different flavors and all of them were really good, can'treally go wrong with any flavor here. Better than BWW or Wingstop in my opinion.
