Our server Melisza was so attentive. Loved the variety of food choices. Something for little kids, big, kids, and adults. Slushy... machine was new since we were last there. Yum! Took my family here for the Veterans day event. The wait was long but a boy scout troop was there passing out free hot chocolate... and cookies to all those waiting in line and whoever had that idea is an absolute genius. Our waitress was Danielle, and eventhough it was packed all night she managed to keep all excess plates off the table and never once took silver ware or a glassthat wasn't supposed to go. Review of TO-GO Option So this is the second time recently (4th overall) going here. The service is always good and the food is... above average. Overall for 11.50 for a weekday lunch all you can eat it's pretty good. If rating only this I'd give it a 3.5star. Above average overall. However, I am going to focus on the to-go value, not always having a lot of time in the day if thiswas a good value I'd throw it into my "mix" of options as I work close by. At $7.50 per pound the trick is to limit largehelpings of heavy items that are cheap and not really good value as they are "filler" food (i.e. pasta, beans, mac, potatoes)and try to focus on protein things to get my money's worth. I ended with what you see in the picture. What is pictured is on aplate I put on when I got back to work. You'll see, 3 good-sized chicken legs, a medium-sized helping of mashed potatoes, alittle smaller helping of mac, a roll, and 2 small cookies. After waiting in line for 5 minutes to get them to go stuff (foundout later I didn't have to wait) and 10 minutes to pay I was out a total of 15.12 (with tax). The food was good, but honestly,the value for the money was pretty poor. I wasn't in a hurry so I could have sat and eaten in, paid a few bucks less, and gotmore variety and all I could have eaten. I did this as an experiment as I know that eating it would have been cheaper. Thatsaid, if you consider the fact that I thought this out and the average joe likely would just take a to-go thing prettywilly-nilly and be shocked when the total came up I don't see many people getting much value at the current rate. If GoldenCorral management/owners really want to make this work they will consider lowering the price to around $5-$6 per pound insteadof the $7.50. I don't think it's a great value and will not be going back to do the to-go option. Read more
So disappointing, waited so long for them to open and should of just let it closed. ???? 1st the soda machine no Ice, second... food looked old, no taste, brocolli didn't look green. Salad was bad, not that many options never seen the wings, no one tookcare of my table until the end that I couldn't even fit plates. No clean plates on 3 section, the utensils dirty. I was going tocomplain to the manager but I am not that person. I am a long time customer of Golder Corral and never have being sodisappointed. We got sick with the food. I feel the drive up North to Denver or South to Pueblo is worth the drive and avoidsuch a disappointment. Don't waste your money n time here I did and regret. Read more
