Reviews for Fargo's Pizza in Colorado Springs, CO
More than likely this hasn't changed much since 1973. I know it hasn't in the 25 or so years I've gone, really just minor... details like lighting and the menu. It gives it an even larger nostalgia because of this, much like Casa Bonita in Denver beforethat closed for renovations. From the mirrors indicating your order is ready to the player piano, it definitely leaves animpression on you when you visit. It is a unique find in the area and the food is pretty good too, especially for feeding thefamily. We saw many couples on dates there too though, so it's not necessarily exclusively family. It has pretty clean tablesand the staff was nice enough and usually has been throughout the years. I think my biggest complaint during the visit was 75percent of the arcade wasn't operational. While it is cool they still have an arcade with low prices (X-Men for . 25) there'snot a whole lot of value in not repairing the other machines. In any case, I applaud them being able to keep consistent in mostother aspects of the business throughout the years. Worth a visit! Read more
This is a really neat place to stop by. Worth going out of your way to visit. We have a Alfredo pizza and it was absolutely... delicious. However we did ask for no chicken on it and they did put chicken on it. But it was delicious anyways overall it'sworth your time to stop there. Just remember to leave some extra time to look around. There are a lot of incredible things tosee in the restaurant. If I had one complaint it would be that I paid $6 for an 8 oz beer. I thought that was a little steepplus it was Not very cold. But the pizza more than made app for it. Read more
Fun Colorado Springs spot. Was busy there night we came. They have a different style ordering process that wasn't explained.... Staff was friendly. It seems you come for the atmosphere which is open but still allows a cosiness for your table. Pizza wasstandard fare but not bad. Worth a visit. Read more
We have lived in the Springs for several years and I have heard about this business from people who grew up here. It seems like... the little sister of Casa Bonita, great atmosphere but the food and service could use improvement. Salad bar was excellent, with a dedicated employee servicing it. The decor was fun and interesting. I love that they have an arcade for kids. A veryrelaxed dining atmosphere that can accommodate large dining parties. My husband really liked the pizza, my spaghetti wasaverage. Food was pricey for no table service. Service was below average. Set-up for ordering and picking up food leads tocongestion. Overall, I would take visiting family and friends to this place for the interesting and fun mood of thisestablishment. Read more
Upside: Large parking reality of seating to accommodate any size party, pizza was good, salad bar good, western style decor.... Prices average for this area. Downside: Seemed like only one person was cleaning off tables, etc. so tables and floor weredirty. Part of our food order was forgotten. Comments: Would go here again and would recommend. I like the decor. Read more
Fargo's is a unique experience attempting to be like the old pizza restaurants before delivery that were wild west themed that... needs to be experienced once. Everyone is dressed in saloon outfits and there's lots of old timey displays, but that's about it.Ordering takes place at one counter, food pickup at another, drink pickup at another, and there's a one time only salad bar, allof which contributes to traffic and waiting problems, which made things slow even when only a few tables were occupied, I can'timagine what it's like when full. There's a ton of pizza and other food options which all sound good. The crust of the pizza isinteresting, very thin and light and crispy, like a cracker in a good way. The salad pizza is a little ridiculous, it's coatedin thick slices of tomato, no way to actually eat it without dismantling the tomato shingles. Read more
It was a fun experience. The atmosphere was neat. Lots of old historical pieces on the wall. They were playing Christmas... music. The staff were friendly and helpful. I even heard the manager thank one of the workers for all their hard work. It wasnice to hear. Food was good. I really was pleasantly suprised by the baked spaghetti with marinara. Salad bar was decent.Pretty basic but not bad. The cookies and cream cake was very good. Would go back just for that. Read more
