Reviews for Ephemera in Colorado Springs, CO
Ephemera was the perfect spot for our Anniversary night. It was an amazing experience for us to share. From start to finish we... had a great time and every bit was delicious. We did the 7 course meal with wine tasting. Each dish was beautiful and it wasquite filling. The art and lighting was lovely and romantic. I suggest sitting at the bar for the whole experience. The wholeteam was welcoming and knowledgeable. They took the time to teach us what we were eating and drinking. We also really liked howrelaxed the vibe was. The restaurant is inside COATI so when we left dinner, we tried some drinks, walked around and enjoyed thefire pits. Overall great night!! Read more
From start to finish, and we wish it would have never ended, the staff made us feel very welcome.\nWe did the tasting menu, my... wife did the chef wine pairing.\n\nWe had several servers. But we called them tour guides, since they not only tell you allabout the dish, and the ingredients, and how the wine pairs with each course, they also let us know what to expect, and whatflavors we would be tasting.\n\nThis was easily the way to go rather than ordering a la carte.\n\nWe even met Adam the chef andco owner!\n\nWe were 1000% impressed and would easily come back again and again when we come back to Colorado Springs.\n\nProtip, if you don\'t know where it is, it is located in Coati, but walk in, and keep going straight past a few vendors until yousee the Ephemera sign on the left and walk up stairs. Everything about this meal was incredible. I found Ephemera after googling nice restaurants in Colorado Springs. The reviews are... what made me decide to make a reservation and try it out. My fiancé and I came here for a late Valentine?s Day date. Therestaurant is small, the entire staff is attentive and knowledgeable. It is not pretentious in the slightest, despite theprices. It?s a very clean, welcoming atmosphere. We decided to spring for the 7 course meal with the wine pairing. It wasabsolutely worth it! All of the wines were delicious and paired perfectly with the food. The portions were just enough that youcould savor the dish, but not too big that we left feeling gorged. I almost cried when I ate the fish. I?d never had barramundi, and I can confidently say that that dish was the best thing I?ve ever tasted. The way the chefs combine flavors is amazing. Iwish we had eaten at the bar so we could watch them cook. You truly can?t go wrong with any dish here! Highly recommend. We?llbe going back, I need more of that fish! Read more
Unique dining experience located in COATI, upstairs. The 7 course offering was tempting, but seemed like it would be less... filling than just splitting sharable and light menu items, as well as an entree.\nWine offerings with a cocktail bar outside therestaurant with option to bring your cocktail in. The Brussels and tagliatelle were are favorites. The duck entree was veryminimal for the price. Some of the others looked a bit heartier. The service was wonderful and staff were knowledgeable andhelpful with making selections. Cheers ???? Read more
Wow. They had an opening for 1 as a walk in and I had to take it as I was feeling a little bit adventurous. So glad I listened... and wandered in.\n\nChefs Adam and Ian have their wits about them and their passion for food comes out in spades from withintheir dishes. It was great to hear their passion for their food come out in conversation and how they treat this as an art, nojust a standard dinner service.\n\nMy favorite dish of the night was their Braised Brisket, which had their brisket, polenta, bleu cheese espuma, with a cherry demi glaze. If you want to think far out, the epsuma is basically whipped cream, on yourbrisket. Words don?t do this justice.\n\nI won?t spoil it all, but their 7 course tasting menu is probably one of the best waysto get to know their menu. Or just go back a bunch and try everything, that works, too.\n\nService was top notch, food was well, well above expectations, and I can?t recommend Ephemera enough to anyone looking for an elevated dining experience in ColoradoSprings.
