Drove by this area, and had to step inside. The venue was super nice looking, and the decor was nice. The prices were simply OK,... of not over priced. The service was OK as well. I do recognize that service is based on the one employee, so I won't critiquethis too much. I'll just say we had to ask for beverages multiple times, and even then it was OK service. Again, though, theyare a bit overpriced. Not by much, so perhaps a dollar or two per meal. I would eat here again. Oh, and it should be noted thatwe went for lunch and they were not crowded. First time visit. Love the architecture and ambiance. Prices are about what I expected. Loved the deviled eggs. The Chicken... Fried Steak was good, but if I'm paying$24, it better not be a kids meal, and unfortunately it was very small. It was actuallyhomemade though. Black Eyed Pea has a much bigger one for the same price. The Hamburger Steak tasted like a frozen SalisburySteak. Nick was a great server though! Drink selection is nice, and the Creme Brulee was delicious. I would define this as a nice restaurant that serves barbecue, not a barbecue restaurant - per se. Nice, clean restaurant -... loved the decor. Staff was friendly and helpful. The Mac & cheese was quite good and was the star of the show; even whencompared to the brisket and pulled pork. The brisket was a bit dry, yet had a good flavor for the rub. The pulled pork was inthe same category. The onion rings were wonderful and the beer batter really shone through - they were all crisp and wellseasoned. My sister in law wanted to try Bourbon Brothers while in town, and I have to say that both the food and our amazing waiter, (I... can't remember his name, but he's bald like me which we both joked about ????), made this a truly amazing experience! Ordered pick up bacon wrapped meatloaf , Mac n cheese, Devil eggs and brisket sliders I got to bar to pick up waited 8 min no... one came as well as no one at host stand left the cash by bar too the only bag had my name in it got home and everything was pcoed nice in big white bag but this is how it looked and tasted when opened up boxes !!!!!! Great atmosphere, it's a classy place. My brisket was okay, a bit chewy on the edges and it could've used a little more sauce. I... think the prices are a little high, I'm not sure that brisket was a $14 sandwich, and the banana pudding in my picture was $9but an overall pleasant experience.
