The food was pretty average for what I had been told to expect. The green beans and baked beans left something to be desired.... Their Hot BBQ sauce was a slightly spicier version of the Original sauce and wasn't bad. Unfortunately they were out of Turkeyand Hickory sauce at the time. Service at the time was pretty good and quick, but for a Sunday afternoon not knowing how busythey get it was fine. The staff was friendly and attentive. For a smallish location seating was good. Should?ve been an easy dinner order. I asked for no sour cream and chives. My husband arrived home with my order covered in... sour cream and chives. They refused a refund, were out of potatoes to replace it, had no manager on duty and told my husbandto leave the store. To come back tomorrow. ???? we won?t be back and neither will anyone we know. Tonight was our last trip to Billy Sims, won't be back again. Food quality and service have drastically declined. The employees... seemed very put off by our presence which made for a bad dining experience. We paid $39 for a sandwich, brisket, two sides and adrink --and to be treated poorly! Bbq is decent however I'm not sure if this location has changed hands, the customer service has gotten horrible. This is my 4th... time in a row of receiving subpar service and there was pieces of plastic in our beef brisket. I've been patronizing thisbusiness for several years but I think I'm going to have get another go to bbq spot. I almost always order the mvp take homepack which I think is a decent value for our family. I ordered at 10am online for pick up after work in a time crunch at 545 andthey hadn't even started my ordered when I arrived at 545 and were slightly rude to me as though it was my fault, I waited 15more minutes for my order. Actually really good barbeque. Lots of traditional offerings, but also a loaded potato with your choice of toppings. I had it... with the chopped brisket. It was good, but big. I took 1/2 of it home. Yay, 2 meals! There was only 1 staff person. She wasgreat, but it made for slower service as the line got longer. Read more

Service was friendly and fast. I ordered a sandwich combo and I love that the sauce came on the side so the bread wasn't soggy.... On a whim ordered potato salad as the side and it was pretty decent. I would go again if in the area. Read more

Stopped in for take out lunch, purchased the 2 meat plate, chicken and sausage, with beans and classic potato salad. Though the... sides were the best part of the meal, I can't say much more for the meats. Both were over cooked and dried out with no flavor,and 3 of the BBQ sauce cups could not help. The buttered bread was so soaked I could clog my artiries. I might try again with adifferent selection but now my hopes aren't high.. Update. Apparently the company don't read reviews and only reply generic tothe stars posted. Update 3-31-2022... Decided to give this place a 2nd try. NOT much better. $13 for a brisket sandwich nobigger than my palm and bread that was so smashed it was sitting under a cinder block. The brisket was tasteless. Even the BBQsauce was no help. For the sides tried the mac' and cheese that tasted like powder. The potato salad was soso. Bagged the mealat the register and didn't hand it to me, had to reach across to get it myself. Stopped in for some BBQ tonight and man I was blown away by the BBQ. I got the 3 meat plate and inhaled it! Highly recommend... stopping in for some good BBQ. Low key feel like the side portions could?ve been bigger but I?m also just a fatty. The portionsizes of the meats were on pointtt! The 2 staff members on duty tonight were on top of it tonight with speedy service and apleasant demeanor! The kickin buffalo sauce with any of the meat choices is where it?s at!
