I stopped by on a Friday morning to pick up a Hot Fudge Sundae cupcake for my grandma's 90th birthday party that afternoon. The... staff were very friendly but unfortunately their cash register was having issues, so after trying to fix it for a few minutesthe manager wished my grandmother a "Happy Birthday" and sent me on my way with a free, and very delicious cupcake. Friendly service, cupcakes are moist, but the frosting is super sweet. Kind of ruins the cupcakes. I thought that I could scrape... some of it off, but if you want to eat the fun sprinkles or fun stuff on top of the frosting, you have to eat big bites ofoverly sweet frosting to get to the cupcake as well. If you have a sweet tooth and like to eat frosting by itself, this is theplace for you. If super sweet frosting is overwhelming for you, this isn?t the best place to go. I was in the mood for dessert, so I ordered via DoorDash from Smallcakes Cupcakery. The cupcakes and ice cream are outstanding!... It?s deceiving when you first look at the cupcakes, they appear to have very little frosting. The reason for having a smallerportion of frosting, is the frosting is so rich and delicious, you only need a small amount. They do an excellent job combiningflavor and texture in their cupcakes. Arguably, these are some of the best cupcakes I have ever eaten. Also, I ordered what Ithought was a cupcake and ice cream mix, but it was actually a milkshake. The milkshake was so thick and delicious I had toshare it with my son, we both can barely drink the milkshake. My husband and I got our custom gender reveal cake from here. The design was exactly what we wanted, and the cake tasted... amazing! We had a layered marble cake with buttercream frosting. The customer service was excellent from beginning to end. Theturnaround from the initial order to the cake pickup was very impressive. Short Review: Earlier today I decided to surprise my wife with her favorite cupcake flavor (red velvet) after having a rough... day. When walking into the store, it was pretty empty. The store employee was attentive and asked numerous times if I neededany assistance. Good customer service overall. The red velvet cupcake after tax was around $4.75. My wife loved the cupcake andit put a smile on her face. The cream cheese buttercream complimented the fresh spongy red velvet cake. Amazing cupcakes in really cute packaging! My wife and I each got a cupcake in a jar and I had never seen anything like it... before but it's such an incredibly tasty idea. The two jars were filled to the brim and layered perfectly with our chosencupcakes (I got lemon drop and my wife got cookies and cream) and were so delicious. Plus, at the end of the cupcake, you gettwo mason jars to wash and use! We can't wait to go back and try new flavors! Read more
The employee we talked to was nice. The cupcakes are okay but, especially for the price, I expected something more. We got a... dozen, so had a variety to compare. The cake on all of them is too airy, like a box mix, and has almost no flavor of its own.The icing's not bad, much more flavor and a nice texture. They're very pretty, and I like the theming.
