Delicious food, though I'll admit I prefer something much spicier. First time admittedly wasn't great, but I got something I... didn't like. Second time going was on a date and got the date hibachi deal and everything was phenomenal. No matter how I'vefelt about the food, the wait staff has always been incredibly nice and willing to help and explain foods that we didn'tunderstand. Read more
Updated from a five star review to two. TL/DR Training, service and management are currently a huge hinderance at this location.... Our family went for a small birthday party last Tuesday with five people. We were sat promptly and there were approximately 3tables in the dining room and one grill table half occupied. Waitress took 15 minutes to visit table and take drink order andforgot one of the five people at the table. She already looked a little lost and frantic. 15 minutes later our drinks show upwith one person in party still not having ordered and at this point no waters and no silverware. Two hot sake's were ice coldand large Sapporo came with no glass. At 40 minutes finally all drinks were ordered and we had the chance to get our food orderin. Food took abnormally long to arrive we are now at 1hour 35 minutes when food finally shows up. We ordered two veggietempura appetizers, both showed up with the rest of the food and one was the full dinner( much larger portion), large sushiplatter showed up with no ginger no wasabi and one of the $18 dollar rolls was incorrect. When all arrived we still did not havewater, plates, silverware or napkins. The waitress after setting all the food down asked if we needed anything. We explained wewere missing all of the above including the standard sides with the sushi, she apologized and stated it was her first night andwalked away clearly stressed. She then proceeded to walk out of the restaurant leaving us and two other tables without awaitress. We finally let the hostess know, who went back and got the kitchen manager who came out to talk to us. He wasclearly agitated and complained that she had walked out on them and confirmed it was this servers first night. He proceeded toconfirm the mistakes and did correct the mistakes of the roll and larger tempura, bill but did not give us any additional creditfor the terrible service, cold sake or the fact the dinner took over 2 hours to complete. As a result Read more
This place has potential but management clearly is oblivious and is not choosing to fix their problems. Any few new customers... who do come here will not return because it was hot as balls inside to the point of no comfort. The place was also a ghost townwith the hibachi grills all shut down. Food was overall pretty decent and tasty. They served us some raw fish on something thatwas not supposed to be raw which could pose a health problem to some. Menu descriptions are non existent on the sushi rolls soyou don't really know what you are getting. I'd say this place is on the verge of closing unless they make some immediatechanges. Read more
I love Sushi, but honestly this is not the best. The fish was kind of dry, and had lost it's flavor. The service was slow... despite the fact that there were a half dozen servers, and only two tables occupied. We were early, around 5PM and the staff washuddled around, but not being helpful. Weird honestly Read more

Sushi is my favorite food. When I was stationed in California, there was this restaurant called Miso Harney Sushi and that was... the best sushi restaurant I've ever been to. So I always compare and try to find the Harney Sushi in Colorado with no luck, andI have been to a bunch of sushi restaurants in Colorado. Ai Sushi & Grill is the closest I have found to Miso Harney Sushi. TheGodfather roll is very original and delicious. If you're looking for more unique and creative rolls with original flavorsinstead of the same old same old, go here. Their fish is high quality as well. I also have always had great service and theowner is pretty active, which I love to see. Their dining area doesn't look the prettiest or upscale by any means but don't letthe looks of the inside deceive you; it's the best sushi in Colorado Springs hands down. So far, it's the best in Colorado sinceI've been to many places in Denver. I don't think I'll ever find another Miso Harney Sushi, but Ai Sushi and Grill comes close. Read more
